This is the first I've heard that Moul had had vehicles stolen from his garage. Any links?
Police incompetent? In a way, I think so. Their handling of the earliest hours may have been due to poorly trained officers. But it could also have been because of what was reported to them by Ed in his 911 call. Or not reported...the gun, in particular.
Frankly, I have my doubts about there being an "Emanuel."
Mary Katherine, the only eyewitness to the crime, made Emmanuel a suspect of sorts when she told her father this past October that Emmanuel's hair was slicked back in a style reminiscent of the person she saw abduct her sister; he "might" have been the one who took her.Huh? Slicked-back hair? How could she see that under the baseball/golf cap?
These people are losing all credibility.
I couldn't find the link to the story yet, but it was on Free Republic at one time.
I did find this early post though. I thought it was pertinent here.
RE; The Mechanic's Story Conflicts
A mechanic told ABC News last night, the car disappeared right before the kidnapping and didn't re-appear until two days after Elizabeth's kidnapping when Ricci dropped it off. Sources told ABC News the car racked up 1,000 miles on the odometer.
taken from full story here
The whole point of this is he went in front of a Grand Jury and gave statements, then he is on TV giving 2 different versions of the Jeep and how it got off his lot. "it disappeared" or "Ricci came in to pick it up", a lawyer defending Ricci will see these conflicts with the Mechanic's story.
