Has ANYONE ever been imprisoned for smoking pot?

Liberteens come, and Liberteens go. But they seem to have an awful time with their own (and biggest - maybe only) issue - pot.
As far as anyone can tell, not ONE person has been placed behind bars for smoking pot. But the Liberteens paint an entirely different picture. They claim that HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS are behind bars for smoking.
Can anyone provide any proof either way?

Perjury? Thousands? List 'em... During the impeachment hearings, there were people identified as being in prison because of perjury. And not just perjury, but perjury because of lieing about sex in court. Mostly divorce cases.

You have proof of such an entity as a "Liberteen"? (A freedom lover under twenty yet older than twelve?) That's the best definition of "liberteen" I've seen on FR.

In California, possession of marijuana in any quantity is not a felony, but a misdemeanor. In addition, there is no arrest as long as the quantity is an ounce or less and the offender has ID and promises to appear before the court. Then at most it's a hundred dollar fine. It's been that way for the past 29 years.

Better guestion...No - even better guestion - what kind are you havin'?
To: Libloather
When that become relevant, I'll let you know... Hmmm. Let me grace you with another irrelevancy... in putting someone down, one should use proper grammar.
