I would prefer Joe keep these thoughts to himself, because as a PTB at FR it only shows a public that there is disunity and confusion at the top.

However, the Bushbotulism of this forum cannot be denied. FR has gone from a place where ideas can be hashed out, and government policy questioned, to a place where cheerleading sections for totalitarian government abound, and where mobs of posters descend on anyone with the slightest criticism of the Bush admin.

That is not healthy for the forum.

Two things should change: 1) NO attacks should be permitted. NO personal attacks WHATSOEVER. One can argue a point without getting person. I am guilty of this offense, as we all are. But moderation should prevent it. 2) Mob gang-ups should be discouraged. If someone faces a tag-team of 5 or 7 people, all ridiculing a decent or cogent thought or premise, that is also not healthy for the forum.

The forum is not well. If you deny it, it will wither.

ideas can be hashed out, and government policy questioned

But much of these "hashed out...questions" are reposting liberal spin and more of a "we hate Bush because our guy isn't President" lies. Ideas and policies being questioned remain; it is the crap that gets deleted. Maybe the posters can do a check of their agenda.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. Outright deep-fried Bush-bashing is tolerated on this site, to say nothing of legitimate criticism. Check out the Arabian Nightmare thread.

Sunshine Laws (open records) is a great disinfectant for all kinds of creeping molds and slime.

No, It can't be denied. This much is very clear.

This is not what a true conservative is about. A true conservative wants and demands a very small government. This government has been growing into a gigantic monster for a long time. And it continues to grow.

Change "Bush" to "Clinton" and it's exactly the opposition FR had back in '98-'99.

Let us hope that in becoming obsessed with an enemy, that we have not become the enemy.

Your #66 is inconsistent. Whenever I'm ganged up on during one of my anti-hunting incursions, you join the gangup almost every time. (You also do so with humor and rationality, not abusive insecruity, to give you credit.)

So the solution to too much government is...more government. You are a good Republican, aren't you?

" Bushbotulism"

LOL! That's a great term. It should go in the lexicon.

"Mob gang-ups should be discouraged. If someone faces a tag-team of 5 or 7 people, all ridiculing a decent or cogent thought or premise, that is also not healthy for the forum."

You mean these folks?

Cyber Sisters

Cyber Sisters are an extremely fierce confederation of fighting females who act something like a shrill Greek chorus, echoing and amplifying one another's voice until their foes retreat in disarray. They are generally leaderless, but anyone who challenges one Cyber Sister can expect to be savagely attacked by the others. Only the most powerful and battle-hardened of Warriors is strong enough to weather a Cyber Sisters attack.

Weren't you one of those on "the other" complaining about not being able to speak freely? Now you want to prevent others from speaking freely because things are not going like you like.

Maybe we don't speak in the manner you and the complainers wish. Therefore, we must be stopped. Only those of pure wisdom in the Libertarian/hate government/hate law genre should be allowed to rant and rave all they want.
