Well, go ahead and ignore me then. I am not the one who brings in the rat pack and as a result, brings these threads into the 1,000+ zone.

I really do pity you and your life. I don't care enough to psychoanalyze you, but it's clear that in addition to having no social outlets, you choose to hang out with people twice (or more) your age.... LOL - you'd better work on your condescending skills, South Buttocks - you're just coming across as silly.
When I was only a year or two older than FIJC, I started a Christian ministry that went all over the world. She's plenty old enough to be able to eloquently and appropriately speak her mind - and she does just that. The fact that you can't handle people being "intimate" in their speech speaks not of any imprpriety on her part, but rather of a calloused and damaged psyche on *your* part. That's what's the pity.

"I really do pity you and your life. I don't care enough to psychoanalyze you, but it's clear that in addition to having no social outlets, you choose to hang out with people twice (or more) your age."I do have social outlets, but when it comes to politics...nothing compares to political forums on the internet.
I have never believed that there is anything wrong with conversing and even sometimes hanging around "adults." Believe it or not, I do have some people who I would consider to be "friends", that are in their 40's. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I don't have a chip on my shoulder yet, as some people obviously do.
To: Jefferson Adams
You are as pathetic as she is, but don't have the excuse of youth. Sorry........no pity for you. Try elsewhere.

To: Jefferson Adams
Thanks. I have been fortunate to have been blessed with some solid mentors in life, who I would consider to be friends.

I don't have a chip on my shoulder yet, as some people obviously do. I know you don't - your honest and open sincerity have always been what I liked about you and your posts.
Speaking of chips, just don't let people with buffalo chips for brains get you down. When they look at their own lives and their own accomplishments, and then consider someone like yourself who is young, fresh, and alive - well, it just doesn't do their egos any good, let's say.
Anyhow, gotta run - nice talking with you again :)

"South Buttocks"
"I started a Christian ministry that went all over the world."
I can see why you stopped...at least one would HOPE that you stopped as that "Christian" attitude is NOT what you were using above. Unless you and I have a different concept of the precepts of Christianity.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
Sorry, should have pinged you to my response above.

No problem. As with most of his type, I see JA contradicts his feigned righteousness, the moment he opens his mouth. Why am I not surprised?

that Osama bin Laden masterminded the 9-11 attacks (the infamous videotape demonstrated his joy at the success of the attacks, not his participation); The English translation of that merry little frat party has Osama saying that the destruction of the World Trade Center was even greater than they had calculated. Clearly, he was responsible so why do you question his guilt?

When they look at their own lives and their own accomplishments, and then consider someone like yourself who is young, fresh, and alive - well, it just doesn't do their egos any good, let's say.I have watched a lot of this go down, and I can tell you this is not about envy. You know nothing of the lives and accomplishments of the women you are being critical of. If you have no appreciation for women your own age, that is your prerogative, but call it what it really is. There isn't a person in their forties here who wishes they were twenty years-old - except maybe you, from what I gather.

Yes, well one of your specialities is judging everyone else, which is one of your more endearing qualities, I can assure you.
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
There is more than one reason why men in their forties often marry women twenty years younger than them--middle aged women often have an unbearable chip on their shoulder. Who would want to spend the rest of their life with someone like that?
To: Mo1
I can honestly say I don't miss those days one bitMe either. I think the only ones that do are the middle-aged failures that scratch their heads in dismay when seeing the contentment of other people their age.
I suspect they want to start over and not miss the train next time around.

BeckIE,
I think Southflanknorthpawsis was trying to give you some honest, sincere, feed-back. YOU are the one who has questioned the reasoning behind some comments to you. I would suggest you ponder.
I honestly read her comments to you in only a sincere light. And you are correct, if others do NOT want to respond to details of your personal life which you seem determined to share, they CAN ignore you. But that rather limits the reason for you to interact on this forum doesn't it? How many people ignoring you would it take for you to at LEAST consider the advice you have been given?
I wish you well. But I will NOT respond to personal details re: proms/thongs/oils/come-ons/your personal sexual mores, drinking habits, etc. That is NOT MY reason for participating on this forum.
