So many conversations just gated up like we are Cattle and just livestock.
I saw that happen. The OP realized that there was already a thread to the same topic of interest. But still there were conversations and sentiments being also shared in this second post too and it is rude to just shut it off like that. Doesn't anyone know how to just "forward" any new comments to the older thread? It is not rocket science and only take minimal effort... I can teach you how... That way those conversations are not lost to the wind...
Does anyone care about the members here and have customer appreciation? Or is the arrogance so great that we should feel lucky you even allow us to participate here? If it is the later you are wrong and that is a mistaken perspective. That arrogance will be the downfall of this domain in the end.

Why not just link to the thread so people can see the posts if it was that important to you and then continue to respond to what peple said there in news posts on the correct thread?

They changed when the moderators do not even no longer enforce the very rules of the Free Republic itself. I ask for nothing more than to walk the walk and not play special favorites to certain members and let them violate the rules while banning poor old ladies because they didn’t quite understand how to use the place yet.

But that is not the point, back to the original point. A little effort and positive moderation could prevent a lot of those problems here and make it much much more productive and customer friendly.
I am offering my knowledge for free to help in this direction old friend... The effort really is very minimal to make it work right and do proper productive moderation. Look, it is not rocket science, you are running off your own clientele here.
