A hyperwoke former Vogue editor proudly announced that she self-downgraded from first class on a flight to Milan to avoid a cabin filled with white men.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, 34, made the declaration on her Threads profile Tuesday evening.
The Brooklyn-based journalist wrote: 'I just downgraded myself from first class to business class on my flight to Milan.
'In a cabin of six, five of the passengers were white middle-aged men... then there was me, a 30-something black woman who travels in that cabin often, and a male flight attendant who thought I'd be okay with substandard service and persistent micro-aggression from the moment I sat down.
'He was... wrong,' Karefa-Johnson continued. 'I don't suffer fools, and I would sacrifice physical comfort to protect my emotional and mental well-being any day.'
Karefa-Johnson did not detail the microaggressions she claimed to have suffered.
The progressive activist's pronouncement about 'sacrificing physical comfort' was likely overblown, given that the business class cabin she moved to would also offer flat-bed seats and copious amenities.
Karefa-Johnson, who quit Vogue in 2023 after posting an anti-Israel rant in the wake of the October 7 massacre, quickly attracted gushing praise for her downgrade.
During her tenure as contributing editor-at-large of the fashion outlet, she got into a public feud with Kanye West after the rapper launched 'White Lives Matter' apparel in 2022.

The beauty of “micro-aggressions” is that they are entirely in the mind of the person complaining, so they can be totally made up but there’s no way to disprove them.

Recently I leafed through an edition of Vogue while getting a haircut at the Barbers of the Lowcountry which is an old fashion, all male barbershop. When I got to the end I said out loud, “All the models in this magazine are skanks”. All the barbers broke out laughing.
Before you ask, I don’t know how the Vogue magazine got into the rack with their gun and golf magazines.
