Kelly Pierce, a former player and coach for women's soccer team FC Tucson, has died suddenly at the age of 43.
The team made the announcement on Saturday. According to Tucson.Com, she died on Friday at the age of 43 from sudden cardiac arrest.
'Kelly was a talented and charismatic leader both as a player and a coach,' Tuscon founder Jon Pearlman said in a statement.
'She was committed to elevating not just women’s soccer but all women’s sports as a champion for gender equality. Most importantly, Kelly was a devoted mother and fierce advocate for not just her children or young female soccer players, but all children.'
Arizona-based Pierce, who was coaching at Salpointe Catholic High School, leaves behind three sons and a partner, Joey. She won six state championships in eight years at Salpointe and also played for the team in her youth.
'It is with heavy hearts that the Salpointe community shares the news of varsity women’s soccer Coach Kelly Pierce’s passing,' the school said
The current Tucson women's head coach Caylee Carter said Pierce was 'a role model who paved the way for female equality in the community.'
Carter added: 'I am heartbroken by her sudden passing. She leaves behind more than a legacy but a community of players, coaches, friends and family who will miss her deeply

Re: 19 - you’re kidding, right?
These threads are often primarily about a few things:
1) snarky comments about someone who “died suddenly”;
2) ignorant and/or low intellect comments that it’s the COVID-19 vax unless proven otherwise;
3) complaints about not knowing the vax status of the person who died;
4) complaints about not knowing the autopsy results of the person who died.
Yeah…young healthy soccer players always kick it at under 50.
I’m just grateful we never had sudden deaths before 2021. That would have been tragic.
The “jab” is working?..... another one bites the dust!
“What gives?”
Maybe Joey, as in Joey Heatherton.
“I wish they would do autopsies on people who died suddenly like this person,”
I think that in some states that’s mandatory considering her age, and the “suddenly” thing.
I am shocked! Shocked, do you hear?
Regards,
I have said absolutely nothing on this thread which could be interpreted as advocating "harassment," nor did I make even a glancing allusion to "vaccines" (though I did gently chide someone else who was implying that the media "couldn't know" about the decedent's vaccination status, when a simple inquiry could have settled the whole matter).
In the case of the friends and relatives of deceased public figures issuing statements and/or making a big fuss about their deaths, media interviews obviously can take place - so one or two concise but compassionately-worded questions could have gone a long way to preventing a lot of unnecessary ambiguity.
Regards,
I hate it when the press uses “partner” for either sex instead of “husband” or “wife”.
Agreed! But I would hate it more if they wrote, "She leaves behind a wife..."

So true....just ask questions.
These threads are often primarily about a few things:You forgot 5) complaints about 1) through 4).1) snarky comments about someone who “died suddenly”;

Maybe you should just avoid these threads.

True.
As long as I keep it focused on the issues it’s a good discussion to have.
Sorry my comments make you uncomfortable.
Thanks!
Very common in my old Delco neighborhood and pretty much all of SE Pennsylvania...
Where, in my postings, did I express an iota of discomfort?!
Regards,
I firmly believe had I taken the Covid Vaccine, I would not be here right now....

Unfortunately, I think that there is now plenty of evidence to support that belief and I suspect that we’ll see statistics showing a trend to lower age deaths in the future, if not already. Anecdotally, I read the local obituaries regularly... I live in an area of say half a million people and since I’ve been here all my life, I’d like to know who is no longer on this side of ground level. What I’ve noticed lately is that there seems to be a trend to lower age deaths... way more people in their 60s than I’ve seen before. Admittedly, this requires a proper analysis but it sure seems that way just from a casual daily read...
Diedsuddenly, a widespread syndrome. I wonder what could be the cause? It is all mysterious.
One thing that I have not seen much discussion about is the risk and damage done to the blood banks. Yes one can bank their own blood before going into surgery etc but how should a pureblood feel about getting a transfusion when the blood comes from a mudblood? In fact, when the WuFlu was really a thing, were they even taking blood from purebloods?
