As the anniversary of 9/11 approaches, I find myself asking out loud a question I’ve whispered to myself often since the Twin Towers came down: Is the U.S. relationship with Israel worth it?
This was a lot easier to answer during the Cold War, when the U.S. supported Israel in order to counterbalance Soviet influence in the region. But, that was a long time ago, and though the Russians are still active in the Middle East, it’s not on the same scale.
Stable oil markets are also a longtime reason we have supported Israel, but that situation is changing too, as the U.S. is now the leading producer of oil on the planet.
Of course, Israel continues to help the U.S. in many important ways politically in the region. But I still feel compelled to ask: Is that enough?
The U.S. has paid a heavy price for our relationship with Israel over the years — not just in treasure, but also in blood. According to the 9/11 Commission, U.S. support for Israel was a key reason for the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
“Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s animus toward the United States stemmed not from his experiences (in the U.S.) as a student, but rather from this violent disagreement with U.S. foreign policy favoring Israel,” reads the commission’s report.
If you are old enough to remember the U.S. energy crisis in the 1970s and the gasoline rationing that came with it, you may also remember that the fuel shortage was the result of Arab nations cutting the United States’ oil supply because they were angry about American support for Israel during the Yom Kippur War.
Or perhaps you remember the 1983 bombing of a U.S. Marine barracks in Lebanon, in which 241 U.S. service members were killed.

Woe be unto the US if we abandon Israel! (And we will, before the end).
Unbelievable, but this is the overwhelming view of Commie Kamala and her minions at the RAT party. Every Jewish voter should read this before voting.

Most Jewish democrats, when presented with a choice between Trump or Harris and ovens, would pick Harris every time.
Great minds think alike. That is exactly my first thought when I read the title
Notice all the recent stories coming from these so called unbiased reporters and news outlets,
Israel is ‘bad’ the US Constitution is ‘bad’ Freedom of Speech is ‘bad’ borders are ‘bad’
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, . “ Romans 1:22
All Western nations and their freedoms are under a coordinated attack. We’ve seen this evil from the enemy many times before. Today they don’t care if we can see it or not, meaning they must be far enough along in their plans to be so bold. They are using the corrupted MSM and any newly invented legal means they can devise and can get away with.
Obama will use a lie about “Freedom” and a false “Peace” to overthrow the West via organized protests that turn into a Color Revolution. They are using it against Israel right now, this is their playbook when a leader doesn’t “cooperate”. They must have a leader installed to divide Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. All of this is being done toward that very end.
Satan is the accuser and before he runs out of time he must A) divide Jerusalem and B) he must cause all those that belong to him to have his Mark to buy and sell. Its all about who legally owns the Earth in the flesh with standing before the Court and it is the inheritance of Christ Jesus over all of his Fathers creation that is being judged, it is why it begins.
When they divide Jerusalem is when I believe the Court goes in to session to adjudicate that very ownership and everything else concerning the timing of the end of the Age follows quickly after. (Daniel 7:26)
Yes they’re going to get their New World Order of Daniel 7:23
And Satan’s Antichrist Man of Sin
But people keep telling me it’s not going to happen 🤣🤣🤣
Everything is leading up that moment
Genesis 12:3
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
King James Version (KJV)
You pretty much took the words out of my mouth. The Hill is so over the board crazy anymore it’s hard to take them seriously.
It’s probably not worth it for Israel with the loss of control that comes with our “friendship”.
Was lifting the Trump sanctions on the Islamonazis of Iran worth it? Is importing vile anti-Semites into the USA worth it? Was it worth it suspending enforcement of the Taylor Force act?
Why?
“Israel shares our values. They are our most reliable ally.”
LOLOLOL
They don’t hate us cause they sincerely believe we are useful idiots.
They certainly do not share any of our values, and are not an ally.
We should not allow dual citizens to hold any elected office.
Genesis 12:3.
Is the US relationship with the Democrats worth it?
What a stupid piece. The answer to peace in the Middle East is for the idiots to stop attacking Israel. The people driving the terrorism and wars do so for multiple reasons, but mostly for greed. It’s similar to the drug trade in that too many are making too much money for it to stop.
BIG difference, which obviously is too subtle a distinction for The Hill to recognize.
