So our FRiend Mark Levin is in Israel as its being bombarded with drones and missiles by Iran.
(Please Pray for Peace)
Kudos to him for being there as some of us have in the past accused him of being a chickenhawk.
I'm looking forward to his reports actually if he does any.
Life goes on there. I just saw on the BBC bars etc. are open.
But I was wondering what Freepers thought of the dual loyalty question ?
Mark could become an Israeli citizen if he so wanted and younger Jewish people often volunteer and fight in their military (from all nations).
Does this sit well with you? How do America firsters feel about this?
I would be concerned if he were a dual citizen of Russia, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, China, etc.
I’ve never found him ‘insulting’.
Maybe he’s just as opinionated as you are.
Are you kidding?
Why do I feel scorned then? He does not like my POV or that of anti-war conservatives.
The feeling is often mutual. His jibes are off-putting
Poor you - you feel ‘scorned’.
Then don’t listen to him, and don’t try to stir people up against him - which is obviously what you’re trying to do here.
You didn’t come here simply to ask, out of curiosity, what people ‘think’ - you came with an agenda.
What about Muslims? Their religion requires them to be loyal to their Umma, the community made up of their religious compatriots, in preference to any other loyalty. Or are you alright with that?

It’s a free country.
I don’t necessarily agree with Levin 100% of the time, but have learned a lot from him over the years, even though his personality is somewhat grating to me. Compared to most Jews in the liberal camp, he’s a breath of fresh air.
Agree
I am a dual citizen - US and Ireland.
I have it to honor my ancestry who fought oppression for 800 years.
I am an American, who is very proud of my Irish ancestry.
I spent 34 years in uniform including two combat and one peacekeeping deployments.
My grandfather, my father, myself and my son went to war for this country.
If Ireland ever declared war on the US, there is no doubt where my loyalty would lay.
You’ve not been on the receiving end of his barbs, that’s the issue with him
Many have here and find them uncalled for.
I find when he sticks to domestic policy he’s very good!
In politics Chickenhawk means someone who pushes wars but avoided military service.
Chickenhawk (chicken hawk or chicken-hawk) is a political term used in the United States to describe a person who is a war hawk yet actively avoids or avoided military service when of age.
LOL! Anyone who has a problem with uncalled-for ‘barbs’ is too tender to be on social media.
Buck up; and quit pretending to be the ‘innocent’ in something YOU started.
It only becomes an issue if there’s some conflict between the two nations. Before WWII, some German Americans returned to Germany to fight for Germany and I think some Japanese Americans did also.
Why are you watching BBC?
Can you vote in both countries?
This is the crux of the natural born citizen debate
A boy born of a US mother in the US couod be a NBC, aw! but the father is a Kenyan/British citizen. The son may have a choice.
Washington and Jay in a letter which you can find online, were adamant that a person who could be a “foreigner” should not be in command of the military (and certainly not a Brit after the war they just fought and another on the way.)
If you have a choice, you would by definition not be an NBC of a country. Now that I have gone off on tangent I will go to bed and check in tomorrow for my zots.
I have no sympathies for dual-citizens, regardless of the 2nd country. Either you are an American or you are not. Show your loyalty, give up one.
Almost every member of congress.
Almost all recent presidents and candidates.
Almost all media.
Actually, where don't they exist?
I think most people chose one by the time they grow up. Like our candidates, Obama, Haley, Jindal, Vivek? Harris. But the issue for NBC is at birth and these all had the possibility of choosing another country.
you’re on a roll tonight
Let us hope for peace and safety of all, even neocons
