One of the first openly transgender attorneys in Washington state has proven that her unique appearance has no impact on her success as a lawyer in her small town.
Lawyer Stephanie Mueller, 70, has been open about her background and says it has no impact on her ability as a public defender.
'I get good results because I'm a good lawyer. This is very, very fabulous,' Mueller once said.
Despite her unique appearance, Mueller insists she has been 'treated with complete respect and great acceptance' since transitioning in 2012 - at the age of 58.
'It's really important to know that since I transitioned, full-time, more than 4 years ago, I have been treated with complete respect and great acceptance both personally and professionally,' she wrote on a 2016 GoFundMe page raising money for a new car.
Seattle journalist Jonathan Choe was in court to cover the case of Iris Boardman, a left-wing protester charged with disrupting a Seattle City Council meeting.
But it was Mueller who caught his Twitter followers' eyes.
The experienced lawyer made bold fashion choices and was not afraid to show off her large surgically-enhanced breasts in a tight low-cut blue top. She matched the top with black leather pants, black boots, bright yellow earrings and bold makeup.
Mueller was a model of efficiency in the courtroom and was filmed agreeing a date for a future hearing for Boardman - May 6 - with no-one around her batting an eyelid at her garb.
'She's innocent of course,' Mueller insisted. 'My client has pled not guilty and she is not guilty, how about that?'
It is the kind of seasoned response that could only have come from her two decades' experience working as a representative for underprivileged clients accused of misdemeanors in the small town of Vashon.

Even a mother couldn’t love that face.
Why? Because she can’t fit behind the steering wheel of an ordinary car?
Well no. No she can't.
I have seen judges tell people dressed better then that to go put something decent on.
I'm going to add that term to my very short list of pronouns (he; she; it and now, fruit); the only pronouns I use and, most importantly, I alone select the one I'll apply to a specific circumstance.
Back in dad’s day they had Wonder Woman, today they wonder if it is a woman.

He’s thinking “I’d tap dat ass. Double tap it.”
Anyone he represents will have an instant appeal justification.
This public defender isn’t remotely showing proper respect to the court with that sort of dress. Even if you ignore all the freak insanity of the “trans” nonsense, that person is not remotely properly dressed for a man or a woman to appear as an agent before the court.
The article refers to him as she. The author is complicit. He is a mentally disturbed man. Has anyone ever heard about a discrete transvestite. No! It is all about receiving attention. This is an integral part of their mental illness.
LOL...you sure have a memory!
It sure seems the same, doesn’t it?
Lately, I’ve read more articles saying these freaks have a “disability” which is the same as saying “mental nutcases.”
Comedians dressing up in black-face aren’t “mental nutcases.” They are just out for laughs.
So one is a mental retard and the other is a comedian.
These people are oppressed by demonic spirits, at the very least.
Not sure what psychiatrists can even do to help. In fact, many of them support this psychosis.
Has anyone ever heard of a discreet transvestite?
<><>No! They insist on flaunting it.
<><>It is all about them craving attention.
<><>This is an integral part of their mental illness.
I hope this guy develops back problems.
Screw it. I plead guilty your honor.
I just read the other day that Fred Gwynn was suffering from some form of deadly cancer when “Vinny” was filmed and that he was in enormous pain during filming. If this is true you’ve gotta give him even more credit for his outstanding performance.
How can this thing proclaim that it is a good lawyer when we already know that it is completely insane?
