Mike Lindell admits he is 'broke' as MyPillow attorneys say he owes them 'millions' in unpaid fees

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has admitted he is unable to pay attorneys representing him and his company, after going broke fighting massive defamation suits over his stolen election claims.

In a court filing on Thursday, Lindell's attorneys said he owes 'millions of dollars' in unpaid legal fees, and sought to drop him as a client in defamation lawsuits brought by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic USA.

The financial fallout from the controversy has been intense for Lindell, after a number of key retail chains severed ties with MyPillow.

In July, Lindell told DailyMail.com that his company has lost a staggering $100 million since Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond pulled his products over his false claims of election fraud.

The bedding mogul said on Thursday that he is 'out of money' and praised his lawyers as courageous, saying he regretted he was unable to pay their fees.

'We've lost everything, every dime,' Lindell told NBC News. 'All of it is gone.'

Lindell has not made any payments on his legal bills since July, his lawyers at Parker Daniels Kibort and Lewin & Lewin told federal judges in Minnesota and Washington, DC overseeing the separate defamation cases.

Parker Daniels Kibort co-founder Andrew Parker said in a court filing that forcing his firm to continue representing Lindell without payment 'could threaten the very existence of the firm.'

Parker did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Thursday night.

Lindell told Reuters he was the victim of 'lawfare' and that he is unable to borrow money to fund his defense. He said he is looking for new counsel.

'We'll find someone, that's the way it is,' Lindell said.

Dominion is seeking $1.3 billion in damages from Lindell and his pillow company in the Washington case.

In an earlier thread I explained that Amex only cut him off because he was a credit risk

“Buy some pillows from this hero.”

I have enough pillows and prefer real feather ones, but I understand he has sheets too.

Does anyone know if they are decent ?

...over his false claims of election fraud.

Adding that word is editorializing not reporting. Any media outlet which does so should be disregarded in its entirety.

Mike Lindell says MyPillow has been crippled by American Express slashing their credit line: ‘We really need everybody’s help right now’

I once worked for Amex, I do not think that there was anything political about this.

Most likely they saw the auction he had, and that his suppliers were demanding payment sooner and decided that he was a potential credit risk and reacted accordingly.

Amex is extremely anal about their money and collecting it.

I have an amex card with no limit, if I wanted to go out and buy a Tesla with it I could, however if I went 30 days late with another card they would freeze my spending limit so fast it would make my head spin.

He’s a great American and a great Patriot. He has been targeted by the same corrupt thugs that are currently destroying this country.

For anyone celebrating what they’ve done to him should be ashamed.

After this tier of destruction, who’s next?

It has taken several years for them to destroy Lindell’s business. The left is taking the same route with Trump that they did with Lindell, just on a slightly larger scale. They will do this with anyone who supports Trump, and who they think might have the money and/or power to assist or defend him, or even sway public opinion.

I am not a lawyer, but how is it that the pillow company can be sued for a statement made by its CEO on his own?

He should ask Trump to buy some pillows for all his hotels. Lindell should have lined that up before he spent all his time as Trump’s publicist.

Spoken as someone who has bought pillows from him, and even did support him for RNC chairman. But Trump is a vapid hole right now, sucking everything down.

This is a man who didn’t understand the battle he took on - didn’t understand that he was no longer in a nation where he was free to speak his mind politically. He needed Elon Musk or Bill Gates money to take the public stands he took.
