Local New York anchor Ken Rosato was axed from ABC 7 for allegedly referring to his co-anchor Shirleen Allicot with a four-letter word, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
The longtime local “Eyewitness News This Morning” anchor was “immediately fired” after “he called her a -” on a hot mic, a source said.
Rosato was off the air when he allegedly uttered the phrase, we were told, but insiders previously said his remark was picked up “on an open mic” and that he was “immediately let go.”

Bingo! These sexism rules just like racism rules are known to only protect certain people. This is why everyone can’t even write the word he said because the rulers of this website will ban you for even writing it.
We live in a fallen world.
Getting fired for calling someone a name shows one hell of a girly workplace.
If he’s Italian enough, we should just chalk it up to that, just like Gov Cuomo said about his own behavior. /s
So, did Ken Rosato get fired for accurate reporting, or because he claimed he could define a woman? /s
If only he worked in Australia ….
They did him a favor. He can go out and find real employment.
Never call a woman a dash quote on air!
Better to go with the B word. The C word is really not liked. Especially by women.
It’s a term of endearment there!😃
It seems to me that if you work in a job where you are routinely in close proximity to a microphone, you should always assume the mic is on and act accordingly.
What a bunch of children at ABC.
He was fired for breaking a cardinal rule in propaganda broadcasting: Never tell the truth.
I find all the extreme reactions to mere words to be a sign of an unserious culture. Coddling of weak minds.
It’s especially satisfying watching the networks go after one anothers reporting etc.......they’re all too sensitive.
Re: 18 - But that does not excuse HIS behavior.
Pretty sure the Aussies have them beat.
I didn’t say that it did excuse his behavior
