A South Dakota ethics board on Monday said it found sufficient information that Gov. Kristi Noem may have “engaged in misconduct” when she intervened in her daughter’s application for a real estate appraiser license that it could take action against her.
The three retired judges on the Government Accountability Board determined that “appropriate action” could be taken against Noem, though it didn’t specify the action. […]
The retired judges also referred a complaint that Noem flew on state-owned airplanes to political events to the state attorney general’s office for further investigation. […]

AP, with Hunter Biden there is no “may have”. Hunter’s crimes are absolutely positively true. And his crimes have compromised the POTUS. Just sayin.

The AP first reported that the governor took a hands-on role in a state agency soon after it had moved to deny her daughter’s application for an appraiser license in 2020.
Why did they try to deny the license - because she was the daughter of a politician they wanted to pay back?
Perhaps there is a case here, if perhaps it is reopened. And then if perhaps it is reopened, perhaps there is another side. But until then it is all a bunch of maybes or could happens or may have dones, but nothing that is conclusive or provable.

It’ll be interesting to see what comes of this. I say that while remembering the episode of Senator Joe Manchin who, while Governor of WV, *may* have engaged in misconduct by intervening in his daughter’s Master of Business degree.
ICBW, but I believe that the honor has been rescinded even though Joe claims to have done nothing wrong....couple of higher ups at WVU were sent packing over this also.
