A grocery store. A hair salon. A church.
In less than a week, these everyday settings have become the tragic backdrops for the latest outbreak of what has become the quintessential American expression of deadly violence — a mass shooting staged by a lone gunman armed to the teeth with guns and grievances.
Experts who have studied the phenomenon said the three shootings, which have left 11 people dead and 11 more wounded since Wednesday, underscore a sad fact that most of us already understand on some level — that no place is safe anymore.
“They are targeting people in places like nail salons or churches or grocery stores because they think this is where the victims will be the most vulnerable, this is where they think they will find people who won’t fight back,” Seamus McGraw, the author of “From a Taller Tower: The Rise of the American Mass Shooter,” said of the suspected shooters. “Because in the end, these killers are not the supervillains they are made out to be. In Southern California, the FBI opened a hate crimes investigation Monday, a day after a man described as a Chinese immigrant opened fire on the congregation at Taiwanese Presbyterian Church, which shares a space with Geneva Presbyterian Church.

As long as the media continues to glorify mass shooters and give them the fame they desperately seek, we will keep having mass shootings.
The media has created this problem, the media perpetuates it, and the media owns it.
My church ain’t safe......for a shooter. The security guys always look like slobs, their shirts are baggy and never tucked in.
These shootings never take place in rural areas where many of the folks would already be armed.....and good shots because they eat what they shoot.
Also note that the Buffalo shooter was a socialist.
Huh? I don't recall reading that ANY of these maniacs had a cache of firearms on their person during the attacks.
Maybe they had multiple magazines, but that's not "armed to the teeth with guns."
Of course I'm assuming NBC knows the difference between a gun, magazine, and clip. Or while we're at it, a man and woman.
Every time something like this happens it reminds me to pack. I get lazy sometimes thinking, “I’m just going to the store, etc..”. There’s just no safe place anymore. We all have to be porcupines now, totally harmless if left alone, but God help you if you take a bite. Any call for a single new rule or law should be met with a resounding middle finger. There will never be a safe place in America anymore no matter what, and the government is our biggest threat.

And what do these shooters all have in common - they are leftists.
“Safe Spaces” are for the safety of the criminal to the detriment of the victims.
