I just heard an unconfirmed report that Diane Feinstein passed away in her sleep last night.

and how much did she have before spending a life in politics doing insider trading and making deals

in the end...what did it get her. A compound? A nice life? In the end..she turns to dust just like the rest of us.

If this completely unverified rumor is true, they probably helped Feinstein on to her eternal reward so that Newsom could name a replacement before the recall election.

According to the California Recall Elections site:

If Governor Newsom is recalled, when would a new governor take office?

County elections officials have 30 days after the election to complete the official canvass. On the 38th day after the election, if the recall is successful, the Secretary of State will certify the election results, and the new governor would take the oath of office and assume the position for the remainder of the term (through January 2, 2023).

If Newsom loses the recall election, he would still serve as governor for over a month before the new governor is sworn in.

Her husband is an investment banker focusing heavily on China, but he definitely benefited from her connections in the Senate. He started Blum Capital in 1975, and married Feinstein in 1980.

As corrupt as such a move would be, appointing himself to replace Feinstein would be too tempting. He’d do it. “Try to stop me.”

It would also call for the Lt. Gov. to move up to Gov’s mansion, eliminating any larry Elder threat.

So tempting, in fact, I wonder if Feinstein had her food testers on duty yesterday.
