Former special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony Wednesday has been described as “excruciatingly awkward,” “confused,” “struggling” and “a stammering, stuttering mess.”
I saw something completely different. From my perspective, after six hours of testimony, it was the 74-year-old career prosecutor and law enforcement officer who won the day. It wasn’t that close.
Tasked with overseeing the most high-profile investigation of our time, Mueller managed to complete the investigation without appearing to have a partisan agenda, with both sides embracing him at times. Even Trump said he acted “honorably”—before he turned on Mueller as “conflicted” and partisan—and touted “total exoneration” soon after Mueller concluded his work. Mueller’s down-the-middle, leak-free handling of the high-stakes investigation was an object lesson in professionalism.
And Wednesday’s performance was no different.

The only way we will get redress if if citizens start picking up coup plotters off the streets and hanging them. We are still waiting for indictments of principal conspirators and, I suspect, we will never see such indictments.

Liberal insanity is a chronic, no-cure mental disease. As the disease progresses, the crazier the patient becomes to the point of having to contain them from hurting themselves and others. In the past, they were kept locked up in state institutions and asylum. They tried everything to cure em: Labodies, shock treatments, etc. all to no avail. The LAST thing a sane society needs is to have any of these insane half-wits in any type of government position. Instead, they need to be in a padded cell.
All you have to do is read the comments at the source. Liberals are convinced they have Trump by the balls now. They are convinced that Mueller PROVED beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump obstructed justice exactly 10 times. And that, once his term of President is over, that he can and will be indicted.
The left also is doubling down on the ‘non-exoneration’ aspect of this mess. They just are not stopping, in fact, despite us laughing at them, they are feeling their oats and are more confident than ever that Trump is toast.
There is one train of though right now, that the left is completely behind, that Trump is now afforded a ‘presumption of innocence’ because that only applies to a trial in a court of law. Their argument is that this was a ‘criminal investigation’ not a trial by jury, so presumption of innocence doesn’t apply. IANAL, but that sounds so wrong and un-American, but here we are, with %50 of the population buying into that argument.
This isn’t stopping anytime soon, and if Trump is going to strategically wait to drop the bomb on these fools, he might end up waiting so long that he’s not the President anymore. He better do something and quick. November 2020 isn’t very far away.
Robert Allbritton’s father Joseph was a player in Republican circles. That has caused some to think son Robert is Republican. Politico speaks for itself, and isn’t the worst, but it’s not conservative by FR standards, or by mine.

what i meant was, wasn’t it conservative many years ago? or at least semi conservative? or was it always a liberal rag- It seems to me i remember reading them because they had conservative leanings, but maybe I’m thinking about some other publication- I thought it was them though?
