Former special counsel Robert Muellers testimony Wednesday has been described as excruciatingly awkward, confused, struggling and a stammering, stuttering mess.
I saw something completely different. From my perspective, after six hours of testimony, it was the 74-year-old career prosecutor and law enforcement officer who won the day. It wasnt that close.
Tasked with overseeing the most high-profile investigation of our time, Mueller managed to complete the investigation without appearing to have a partisan agenda, with both sides embracing him at times. Even Trump said he acted honorablybefore he turned on Mueller as conflicted and partisanand touted total exoneration soon after Mueller concluded his work. Muellers down-the-middle, leak-free handling of the high-stakes investigation was an object lesson in professionalism.
And Wednesdays performance was no different.

Politico: A Latin word translated as “Generator of Bull$hit”.
He was totally faking it, he had no problem with the other side.
He was trying to act like a dumb blonde who isn’t really and he didn’t pull it off very well because he came off as unsympathetic.
Never understand why Hannity will have Politico people on his talkie. particularly when they come up with crap like this.
While there is no comparison of importance. When I listened to the Nixon JFK 1st debate I thought Nixon won but then later viewed it and saw that the Nixon makeup distorted the result.Did U muss something by just listening to it ? Because this is what I came up with.
Bumping Rush local Fox AM/FM affiliate had been running the House production of the Mueller show hearings live . As expected the Party of Perverts ( who claim theyre democratic but are that in name only) own the stage and script for this Kabuki theatrical production. And as expected have been using the failed Trump Towers Moscow as the reason he won with Russian help. When a war hero hammering away Trump was colluding with Russian hackers that broke into DNC sekrut files so he could make millions but not key members of the democrat part
...how much has he done???
It seems to me that the People of the United States and their government at Washington must have some redress over the “we did not exonerate” report.
This was (now) obviously the work product of Andrew Weissman and others known and unknown, and there is no DOJ policy or procedure which would permit the issuance of such a statement, in the form of a report or otherwise.
“We did not exonerate” is an extrajudicial accusation, in effect the product of a Star Chamber type of body, which deprives the accused (Donald Trump, in this case) of his Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights and furthermore offers him no recourse before an Article III court or other impartial body.
satire, right?
“He was totally faking it”
He should combine his acting skills with Alyssa Milano’s, and they could have their own sit-com.
You have to hand it to the Left, they NEVER relent. In this case, they’re trying to get on offense again, even though it is hopeless.
...well, appears hopeless. I thought the same with Trump’s tax cuts, how do cut income taxes for 95% of taxpayers and not win with them? Answer, you deny it and have the media deny it, and by the time you’re done, 80% of the country thinks their taxes went up. In my decades on this planet, I can’t think of ANYTHING that matches that accomplishment.
“There was no there there”. It was at first an assignment Mueller could strike back at Trump for not hiring him back to head the FBI, but became a paycheck, so he delayed the findings to keep the money rolling in.
The report was written by the Weismann team. The least Mueller could have done was to have read it in its entirety. Obviously he did not, or he would have been better prepared. He didn’t care once the money wasn’t coming in, and he really believed he didn’t have anymore to do with it all once the report was written, and presented. Nadler screwed him up as Nadler screws up everything.
The real losers were we the people once again. Millions of our tax dollars out the window for nothing.
The looks on their faces as the hearing started versus later on, show that they were there to back up Mueller.
Then, it went really bad for their side.
“I am afraid that the separation has become too distant to resolve.”
The true left wing believer is beyond salvation and positive resolution.
Our only option is to continue what President Trump is doing to expose them as American haters, who would destroy America and us without a second thought.
That will wake up the independents, who don’t hate America and work for a living instead of hating for a living!
Renato Mariotti, its your job to go out there and pick up the clean end of the Mueller turd!
Politico is part of the liberal misinformation industry. I take what it puts out with a grain of sand.
Awesome as in after 4 days of constipation I took an awesome crap.
Robert Swan Mueller III played the part of the doddering old man to perfection, seeming not to know even some pretty basic salient facts about how the FISA wiretapping warrants were first issued, or who Nellie Ohr even was. It was as he had not written even a word of the four hundred-some pages of the report.
Yeah, it was a good performance. But that was all it was, a performance.
Excellent point. Because I value reality and truth I stopped reading at “Mueller managed to complete the investigation without appearing to have a partisan agenda ...”
Well let’s get Mueller up twice a month. This author is a dope who must be smoking something formerly illegal.
[[Mueller managed to complete the investigation without appearing to have a partisan agenda,]]
Yeah because He hired all conservative investigators to help him, right?
What happened to you politico? You used to be an ok site- now you’re nothing but the liberal’s lap dog!
