The FBI has arrested a man accused of sending Dallas reporter Kurt Eichenwald a tweet that triggered an epileptic seizure.
The agency announced that John Rayne Rivello, 29, of Salisbury, Md., was arrested Friday morning in Maryland on a cyberstalking charge.
Eichenwald tweeted that the man who "assaulted" him also is expected to be indicted by the Dallas district attorney on different charges in the next few days.
Eichenwald's attorney, Steven Liberman, told Newsweek that "What Mr. Rivello did with his Twitter message was no different from someone sending a bomb in the mail or sending an envelope filled with anthrax spores."

Sorry but the person clearly did what they did with the intent to cause harm... law’s completely clear on this. You engage in any activity with the intent to harm another you are breaking the law. And if what you did actually doesn’t cause harm you are broke other laws.
Intentionally sending someone you know to be epileptic a strobing video in attempt to cause them to have a seizure you are not only a criminal but an asshole to boot doesn’t matter the medium in which you delivered it.

Obviously we need some "safe spaces" for people too weak to live a normal existence. Ought to be laws keeping them from encountering stuff that is going to kill them.

A person is such a fragile flower because they have a weak heart, and someone who knows they have a weak heart says you deserve to have a heart attack, and am going to engage in activities specifically designed to cause you to have a heart attack, and I hope you die from the heart attack that I am specifically trying to cause you to have, because you’re and idiot liberal.
