Letter: Palin’s GOP too far-right for me
The Chicago Sun-Times ^ | February 13, 2012 | Rob Sarnowski

Posted on 02/13/2012 8:02:44 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Did you ever think that perhaps “conservative enough” by Sarah Palin’s standards might be too far right for the rest of us Republicans and independents?

Most of us are not wealthy and are neither racist nor homophobic. We are not all evangelical Christians. We are merely commonsense people, most of whom have faith in God, but respect people who do not share our faith (we pray for them rather than judge them); we believe strongly in fiscal restraint, less government intrusion in our lives, a fair taxation system and an agenda that is not only without discrimination but also includes all people regardless of their race, religion, sexual preference or economic status.

We “RINOS,” as we have been labeled by the far-right commentators, are the Republican Party, too.

If the eventual nominee of the GOP is not “conservative enough” for Sarah Palin or the Tea Party to endorse, then perhaps it is they who are not listening.

your description of a conservative pretty well covers it. Why do you think that others are that much further right than you??? What did Sarah say that is further right than your opinions???

"We “RINOS,” as we have been labeled by the far-right commentators, are the Republican Party, too."

That is an unfortunate factoid that we conservatives are trying to mitigate.

This may be one of the rare times the NIV gets it right;

Ever notice how these “today’s GOP is too extreme for me and I’m a lifelong Republican” letters never get around to saying what specifically is too “extreme”?? What exactly is too “extreme” for this moron? What exactly did Palin say that caused him to run crying like a little girl? The answer is nothing. He is one of these idiots who listens to the news, hears the MSM and GOP Quislings calling Palin “exteme” and so he calls her “Extreme” too without understanding why.

Rob there are those who use the term Republican or Democrat as a facade. Behind that facade they sometimes use another facade, progressive or liberal. They do this to hide their agenda. They also do this because they are a very small number of extremely radical communist/socialists. This group has spent a long time trying to gain power, three and four generations for some. They now control both parties, presenting their choices who they want us to vote for. Now stop and consider that they want you and others to think that Palin is too conservative. Compared to what they want you are right, she is way too conservative. For what “we the people” want she is nearly perfect. Please give this some thought.

Practically all the rascists I’ve ever met were left of center politically.

This is just too easy... little robby castroti here is not and has never been a republican. He cannot tell you what republicanism even is. They are dims that have been left behind by their marxist party and they are liberals... but they don't hate Capitalism and they don't hate their country. They have become republicans and they now are intent on making it a progressive party... idiots have no idea that their way leads to obama again... and on to stalin... fools! They need educating... Reagan educated many dims... and Sarah is the only one that can educate a new generation of orphaned dims. They need to assimilate with who and what we are... not change us into the dim party that they think that existed in the past.

Republicanism abhors greed... and greed is the foundation of class warfare. This guy is preaching Class Warfare... the left is committed to destroying American Societal structure. Everything that Republicanism is... this metrosexual gaylord is not.

John Adams: 1787

Republicanism

“A government, in which all men, rich and poor, magistrates and subjects, officers and people, masters and servants, the first citizen and the last, are equally subject to the laws”

And I'm sure he and his friends are all for the 'Big Tent', except they don't want those nasty, judgmental, social conservatives in it.

No, you are not. You are to stupid to realize you are a Democrat and registered in the wrong party. Please get out of the Republican Party because we do not want you.

Dear Rob,

You can't write a letter like this without puppies.

Here, let me help.

There, isn't that better?
