In Obama Senior's immigration file p.35 part II, there is another extension of time. Obama Sr. lists Ann S. Dunham as his wife (he blacked out something or someone else on this line), but left children blank. On Page 36 part IV of the same form, he certifies that everything is true. The date here is Aug, 31 1961, when Obama II was just a few weeks old.
On p 32, William Wood has a memo dated 8/31/61 saying that Obama has a child living with the mother (Obama II), but he didn't get this off Obama father's form.
Not sure where Wood got this information.
The question has been raised ~ and the general consensus is that he’s referring to a document you take home with the new baby ~ with all sorts of identification materials. I’ve seen mine ~ from way way way way back there. The birth certificate the state of Indiana gives me says nothing about what I used to weigh.

He does not describe the BC data.
But of course, maybe his “grandfather” was really his father, and we should actually be looking for some young, black female friend of Frank Marshall Davis for his mother...gads, this guy is confusing!

Anyway, I really appreciate you stetting me straight. I’d have gone on posting that incorrect info over and over, otherwise.
The curious part being, it was on FR that I read he had mentioned seeing his birth weight on the BC he found. I even had a discussion with a FReeper about it, asking why he would include such a thing in his memoirs. I wonder where the rumor came from?
