And when PMS hits them both the same day, he may not feel so lucky.

That's why he'll need another pair of twins as mistress(es)! For those "off days".

There’s a story about a man who was asked to define polygamy.

After contmeplating the question for awhile, he blurted out “One wife too many.”

After thinking about it a bit more, he added “Come to think of it, so is monogamy.”

Someone needs to tell the Wichai(Tao) lineman...

1 Corinthians 7:2 says, “Let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” Polygamy is sinful for male or female. Women married to the same husband do not each have their own husbands.

You're missing the context of that: the immorality of unmarried sex. You're reading things into beyond that. Not that I'm supporting polygamy. Marriage is difficult enough the way it is without getting into that kind of zoo. It's just that it's not proscribed in the Bible.

3And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.

4Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

5Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

I think he’s actually the Wichai(Tao) junkman or antiques dealer, it’s not clear.

“Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.”

A true verse as are all Bible verses; but they must be understood in the context of the whole Bible. This verse does not stand alone.

Are we to understand that David committed no other sin?

When he numbered his people and God put 30,000 to death because of it, was it not sin?

When he committed adultery was it not sin?

When he intended in his heart to kill Nabal and his people was it not sin?

The Bible says it was.

The Bible also teaches, from Genesis to the epistles, that marriage is to be between one man and one woman. All else is sin.

The Bible says it was.

No it doesn't, your conscience does. Whatever is not faith is sin.

More like two Rachels (Rachel was obviously better looking than her older sister).

The Lovin' Spoonful lyrics don't apply...

"Sometimes you really dig a girl the moment you kiss her
And then you get distracted by her older sister..."

since these sisters are twins.

There are legal implications but it’s not a biggie according to my wife.

I didn’t have to pay a dowry exactly, but I did chip in about $500. for food and booze & etc. at the wedding.

“The Bible says it was.

Did you even read the Bible verses I posted in post 32? There are many more I could post.

Your conscience wants you to allow for plural marriage. That’s my take on it. You should rather follow God’s creation ordinance, never lifted, and frequently verified and confirmed, throughout the whole of Scripture.

AS the old saying goes, “He who wishes for two wives has never HAD two wives”.

hey, King David had a dozens wives, and he’s one of the most highly spoken of in the Bible.

David had many wives...a dozen? (No)

Single digits.

A couple of women referenced where concubines he inherited that came with the kingdom he inherited. The Bible doesn't mention that he slept with them.
