The whole martial law thing strikes me as very unlikely.

Look, the feds have all but admitted they can’t do squat about 12 million illegal immigrants.

So with what army are they going to lock down 300 million Americans?

I could see them shutting down some transportation corridors. But that itself would take some kind of act that far superceded 911 to convince folks it wasn’t just an act of desperation or whatever.

If I remember correctly, these were drawn up during the Cuban missile crisis, in case there was a nuke attack on the US by the USSR. Since that never happened, we need to check to see if they were rescinded.

The house to house search mentioned will not be by US troops or National Guard. It would have to be by foreign troops. I do not believe that US soldiers will participate or the military would go along with this scenario.
