“And dont think I missed the we. “
He’s on to “us”. All of “us”. Even the ones of “us” who are secretly copied on this post.
He’ll probably tell all of “them” about “us”.
Obama could end the BC issue by producing his BC. metmom and others could end this issue … [excerpt]If Buck wants his questions answered, why has he (to date) refused to post them as a thread?
… by saying they believe Catholics are Christians.Careful, your starting to sound like a schoolroom bully.
Nobody has ever proposed a scientific theory of evolution; just the regular unscientific one that Dumwin dreamed up. - Try again.
“Not to a real Christian”
What is a “real Christian”?
.
The difference between what you are doing and polluting the thread? - Nothing.
.
Correct, evolution and science are logical opposites.
Do you agree or disagree with the idea that in nature it is survival of the fittest?
Sorry. I can't speak for Buck. You will have to ask him, not me.
I have no ties to any other posters nor do I have to bounce things off of others before posting.
"Why? You're lack of knowledge didn't stop you from writing the article."
This dude must be an English teacher, right?
.
You think that God's the liar and Satan is the truth teller? Okaaayyyyy.......
As usual, you have twisted the issue as presented by others. The question is not whether an individual memeber can or is a Christian, the question is:
Do you believe that Catholics are Christians?
“It is a common phrase. But it took you to find the ‘evil’ in it. I would say that it was your mind that is focused on evil.”
I’m sorry... it’s the first I heard of it. In any case, I figured the second go round there might be some more creative terminology than ‘scare the pants off’. I mean, are you guys really so insanely arrogant that you believe your words and questions ‘frighten’ us? Obama’s health-care plan... now that’s scary! Nancy Pelosi’s face... YIKES!
The problem is that you are asking people who embrace Christianity to condemn others so that you can use their words for your own personal, sick purpose. We struggle with judging others just like you do, but with us it’s metered by a desire not to because we know God doesn’t want us to judge the hearts of others. We believe men are not animals, and as such have a responsibility to fight the sin nature. If you do not believe we were created by God, then you have no such dictate. You’re trying to argue Christianity from a completely different perspective so I don’t expect you to get it... I also would refer you to the previous posts with answers to the Catholic question. If you do not like the answers, then that’s fine. They are a true representation of my beliefs on the subject.
By the way, it’s surprising how juvenile you sound even in your last reply. Or maybe not...
Not at all. They're just generally not well educated in the parts of the Bible that deal with this.
"With savages, the weak in body or mind are soon eliminated; and those that survive commonly exhibit a vigorous state of health. We civilized men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination; we build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed, and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one up to the last moment. ..
Do you always defeat your own argument within your own post?
“Hes on to us. All of us. Even the ones of us who are secretly copied on this post.
Hell probably tell all of them about us.”
Snide comments on snide comments...
If you keep it up I’ll let “them” know what “all of you” are up to... shhh... it’s a secret!
"Not at all. They're [Catholic Church and the Pope] just generally not well educated in the parts of the Bible that deal with this."
Anyone who affirms what is in the Apostolic or Nicene creeds is a Christian. Someone who does not believe in the Trinity is not a Christian. So, Catholics, Orthodox and most other denominations who call themselves Christians are Christians.
However, it is baffling how so many people hear that 'evolution is an article of the Catholic faith' from the mouth of an atheist and assume it is true without further thought. It is a dogma of the Catholic faith that every human being (not just Adam and Eve) requires an individual supernatural act of creation on the part of God, which is, the soul. So a Catholic cannot believe that humans arise from purely naturalistic processes without denying his faith.
