The parents of Bruce Lee were foreign nationals on tour with a Chinese acrobatic group in the US when Bruce was born, which gave him US citizenship in addition to his dual citizenship abroad. As US born, even tho he spoke with a thick Chinese accent due to being raised abroad - Hong Kong - he could technically have run for President - if he had lived to age 35. He came back to the US at a young age and had no trouble exercising his right to stay here. I welcome additional input on this, but I believe someone in his position could certainly run for President if they were US born, and then renounced the foreign half of their dual citizenship by age 21 for full American citizenship, even if they were raised abroad.

His parents were not US citizens at the time of his birth...

The leftie mayor of London joked that he was actually eligible to run for US Prez due to being US born - can’t remember if he also had one US citizen parent. He said he was open to receiving the call.

That’s your opinion. Mine, and many others (as expressed over and over here alone) is that “Natural Born Citizen” = born in country, to 2 citizen parents.

The 14th A. says: “Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.”

Were Bruce Lee or his parents (I ask this because of SCOTUS precedent and also in relation to the anchor babies issue - [http://www.examiner.com/x-10317-San-Diego-County-Political-Buzz-Examiner~y2009m7d1-California-is-closer-to-ending-illegal-Anchor-Baby-births]) subject to the jurisdiction of the US? Were they domiciled in the US? Were they legally resident in the US?

No, Bruce Lee can never have been eligible for the Office of the President. You have have been duped like so many ohter people by the false propaganda of some ignorant Conservative pundits, Democrats, and the Obama Administration.

The Constitution’s requirement for a “natural born citizen” of the United States is not and cannot ever be synonymous with the less restrictive qualifications for a “citizen” of the United States. No person who is a natural born citizen of a foreign sovereign and government with allegiance thereto can ever be eligible to the Office of the President. Any person whose parent is a citizen of and owes allegiance to a foreign sovereign and government and thereby covneys the same foreign citizenship and allegiance to the foreign sovereign and government for the child can never said to be a natural born citizen with allegiance only to the sovereign United States of America as required by the Constitution and Founding Fathers.

“NATURAL BORN” is NOT THE SAME as just being BORN in the U.S. WHAT IS SO DARN HARD ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THIS?

It is a ###***SPECIAL***### requirement for PRESIDENT.

It is a ###***HIGHER STANDARD***### than just being born here.

“Natural Born” is a specific, one of a kind, LEGAL Constitutional “TERM” used ONLY to refer this special requirement for president. It has it’s own clause.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution of the United States of America.

Let me try a BEER analogy, something at least guys might understand.

You go into an establishment that serves adult beverages. You order a Budweiser. The “server” (god I HATE that term) gives you a Bud Light. You immediately complain, “This won’t do, I want a Budweiser”. The server returns and sets down a Budweiser Brew Masters’ Private Reserve. Again you complain, “This won’t do, I want a Budweiser”. The server returns and sets down a Budweiser NA (Non-alcoholic version of Budweiser developed for the Middle Eastern market. Also available in Green Apple and Tropical Fruits versions).
You become FURIOUS and DEMAND that you will NOT accept anything other than the one, the only, the very specific type of beer you ordered. While they were all BEER, while they were all Anheuser-Busch products, and they all had the name Budweiser on the label, (and they probably were all very good beer), THEY JUST WERE NOT THE SAME THING. When it comes to my BEER (president), I INSIST on the REAL THING.
