I think I was pulling for Snapes mostly because the actor's portrayal in the movies is such genius.

Oh yeah, Alan Rickman is major eye and ear candy for me. Just LOVE that guy and his velvet voice!

I once tried to read "Return of the Native" and almost fell asleep, it was so deadly dull. We were planning our annual drive South one year, so I went to the library to get some books on tape, and saw "Native", but read by Alan Rickman. It was great company because we drive straight through, and I do the overnight leg. I enjoyed that book immensely! ;o)

My high school English teacher made us read that one year. I got through maybe 20 pages then stopped. It's been 20 years and I still remember how dull that book was.
