I once tried to read "Return of the Native" and almost fell asleep, it was so deadly dull.

My high school English teacher made us read that one year. I got through maybe 20 pages then stopped. It's been 20 years and I still remember how dull that book was.

Oh, get the audio version, then. It’s actually an interesting story, it’s just hard to plod through while reading it. And having Alan Rickman read it makes it SO much better!
