I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.
Back to your regularly scheduled oggling and hitting.
You realize that as a result of this vanity, you’re going to get pinged to every “I’d hit it” thread on FR.
All day? With ice cubes?
Uh, yes. But I’m too polite to say it?
Anyway, I’m a typical male. Isn’t “I’d hit it” pretty much a universal response to a female being in proximity, depending on how long it’s been since the last time you got to “hit” something? :-)
See, now I’m not only the laughingstock of the non-prude crowd, but all the other prudes are going to abandon me as an apostate.
If I could pretend I was serious for one second, I’d say no, I truly mean that my first thought on seeing a beautiful woman is NOT “I’d have sex with her”. Of course, I’m in my late 40s.
Internet memes can be annoying. Just ignore them. Think about it. Is anything anyone says on the internet really worth getting all that worked up about?
“That’s what she said!” is even lamer.
Ive always hated those posts where people just change a line and then say There, I fixed it for you as if you were too stupid to know how stupid the thing was you were talking about.
But wait, I shouldnt hijack my own thread with ancillary complaints. Besides, Ive got enough people on my case already.
Fixed it for ya! ;)
OK, I can’t believe I’m receiving training on “I’d Hit IT” from BJClinton.
I guess I’m just too much a literalist. I guess that, in all seriousness (because obviously I was in a less than serious mood when I posted this), I’ve seen at times that “I’d hit it” was a juvenile way of saying “that is an attractive woman”, but thought it was a crass way of saying it, and suggested beauty was simply a sexual attraction thing.
But the Moses Commandment pic wasn’t just a “she’s good looking”, it was a command to “hit it”.
Oh, I’m in too deep now.
We need a graphic of the Madacascar dancing animals singing that song:
“I’d like to hit it, hit it, you’d like to hit it, hit it, he’d like to hit it , hit it, we’d like to, ugh, hit it”.
Hey wait, you tricked me. Damn dark side of the force. :_)
lulz
Let me get this straight. I am single and I am not supposed to show in a public forum that I am attracted to intelligent and attractive women? I was schooled in Catholic schools and I don't ever remember that being an issue -- you know, boys attracted to girls and visa versa.
I don't get your point at all.
Not necessarily...in my case, that would make nine-tenths of the world's males into flaming homos.
On the other hand, if you see a pretty man who shaves his chest it may not actually PROVE he's light in his loafers, but, well, that's the way to bet.
What, I’m supposed to have a point? :-)
OK, so first there was the clinton “I’d hit it”, which I didn’t complain about because we know Clinton was a rogue.
Then there was the naughty teacher threads, where people would “hit it” if the teacher was good looking, and that was funny because the point was that school boys were always dreaming of having sex with a good-looking teacher, and here are all these good-looking teachers desparate for sex with their students. And the teachers WERE having sex with underage people, so maybe making fun of them in a sexual way was “ok”. At least I told myself.
But now here’s the President’s press secretary, an accomplished woman, attractive for sure, and everybody’s posting multiple pictures of various people saying “I’d hit it”, as if her goal in life was to get laid by a bunch of “males” staring at her picture on the web.
I will note, not that it matters, that Perino is happily married, and not available for “hitting”. And I wasn’t being so serious when I posted, but the bible does say you shouldn’t covet your neighbor’s wife, which I think includes hitting her.
