I think their schedules are planned out long in advance. I’m not sure they can just add in another week. I’m pretty sure that two will leave next week.

I'm going to verify it as soon as hubby turns off the Twins game.
I have read at least one news article already though that said the bottom 2 go next week.
I don't think I'm wrong about what they said, but maybe I was snoozing through the telethon.

Hi Jonny...the AI performances from tonight are up on iTunes for people who want to buy them. Trust the boards to get the clip of Kelly singing tonight up on YouTube about the same time the performance went up at iTunes, LOL!
So I was able to see Kelly's performance before the show actually comes on here in L.A. It was very moving. I love the guitar work.
According to the boards, Carrie's performance was actually a studio recording that she lip synced in some parts and then it played over scenes of her while she was with children. As mentioned, I haven't seen it yet, but look forward to it.
General opinion is that Josh Groban was very good too.

Idol and FOX always want to drag the season out as long as they can, that's why they have a Top 12 now instead of a Top 10. I just don't understand why they would give up an extra week of revenue and ratings.
