Tomorrow...I won’t watch probably....all I need is 30 seconds to find out who is crying.
I do NOT need the likes of Celine Dion telling me again...that poor people should be able to just touch fancy Flat screen TV’s and stuff....like she said on Larry King after Hurrican Katrina.
I have NO USE for those people...
To: Col. George Rains
KiKi doing a Fantasia song.
*cough*kissofdeath*cough* LOL, I was thinking the same thing.
The judges were tougher on her than with anyone else.

Oh no - tomorrow night is Celine Dion going to be on? And others telling us how greedy we are in the US?
Shootfire - can't watch. I'll just read about it later. Thanks for the warning.

Did anyone else just hate the whole telethon "woe is our poor world" night? I even told Simon “shut up” when he was going on about the supermarket. So nobody could sing a song about our country? At least Phil came close. Do you think they made them say all that kumbaya stuff in their openings?

I think this woe is me for the poor really sucks, I was AI for fun not to be told how awful life is for the people they choose to feel bad for — if I want to be enticed to give money I’ll go to a fund raiser for some charity

They are trying to make people feel guilty because we live in the greatest nation on earth.... They make us sound selfish, when in fact we are the most giving country the world has ever known.

Nothing to kill or die for...
Can you imagine a life where there is nothing to die for? And yes, I'm serious, that you wouldn't consider dying for a loved one or a wonderful country, or freedom.

With no hat, Phil looks like that old kids toy with the bald guy with the metal shavings inside it and it came with a magnet so you could give him different hair styles. ROFLMAO!!!
I never had patience for that thing. I just smeared his magnet "hair" all over his face and threw it in the corner :)

I was listening to Jordin talk about “helping people” before her song...and she sounded so sincere.
Of course Simon gave Blake a pass on singing that horrible song, horribly, because he was SINCERE...
SO...I am thinking with their youth in mind..and the atmosphere they are living in right now..(Hollyweird)...that these people probably DO feel that they are making a difference.
It is the ignorance of youth, combined with the propaganda of liberalism....you add that into the most highly rated TV show...and that is what we are getting.
BUT, I don’t have to watch...I only watched for the same reason I watched last week...and the reason I will watch next week...to listen to the songs, critique them..and have fun on AI.
I have NO illusions that this is gonna do any more than put money in the pockets of whoever is running this shindig.

Tomorrow...I wont watch probably....all I need is 30 seconds to find out who is crying. All we need are a couple of volunteers to watch and post, and the rest of us can follow the thread.

Jordin was way flat on the high notes. A soprano she’s not.
Poor song choice for her...not in her range.
Where is Hetty Fauxvert with her excellent ear when we need her?
(Probably listening to two babies cry at the same time!)

I'm sure Mrs. Pantsuit is just loving this telethon...betcha she figures it into one of her drones on her next campaign stop. "When I am president, we won't need AI to do a telethon..."
