My 16 year old niece thinks he looks like a monkey....her 8 year old sister thinks he’s creepy. They both like Jordin.

Look at poor Chris Sligh. He let the negative talk wear him down until he just about quit.I'm not so sure that was the reason. Chris & his band have entered the "Music Nation" contest. Grand prize is a contract with Epic. And from what I'm hearing, without the tourniquet stings AI has attached to theirs.

After Sanjaya leaves, I think most of his votes will go to Jordin. And that will push her out ahead of L&M.
Too bad Jimmy the Greek isn’t around anymore. He would get wealthy making book on American Idol.
The next few weeks is when it gets very interesting. I can’t wait for Country Music week. What on earth will Sanjaya do?

I think it would be better suited to his style. Like Chris Daughtry, AI would have destroyed him. I don’t understand why Idol doesn’t try to work with the artists own style when they win & market to that demographic instead of trying to turn them into their own idea of what a “star” should be.

I’m not sure if they have said prior to last night, who the top three and or bottom three vote getters were. Polls though have shown him in the top 3 and been accurate in their predictions of those being voted off. Dial Idol being the exception and not being included. My point being that he will get less and less % votes. I doubt that his fan base is growing. Meanwhile, I do think that the fans of those voted off will not be likely to vote for him. So, the numbers really start working against him.

After Sanjaya leaves, I think most of his votes will go to Jordin. If as many people think, that the tween girls are voting for suckgaya, then I think his votes will go to Blake.

I realize they really don’t say, but I’ve always thought they seem to give the results starting with the highest to the lowest. Maybe not in exact order, but close. He’s always seems to be around in them middle.
I think you’re right too about whose voting for him and that his fans are not growing.
I don’t find anything about the kid entertaining. I realize he is just that a kid, and can forgive him for that, but he doesn’t have any class like Jordin who is a kid. He seems a bit smart alecky, and if he thought Simon’s remark this week was a compliment he is living in a “Sanjaya universe”...:)

I dont understand why Idol doesnt try to work with the artists own style when they win & market to that demographic instead of trying to turn them into their own idea of what a star should be. Or at their worst, denigrate the winner and actually work against them. I hope more opportunities similar but better than AI open up to undiscovered talent.

For several weeks in a row they sat him next the person getting voted off. Teasing those of us that wanted him to go. Meanwhile the other two from the bottom three had already been named. So, his placement could have been in the top three. It just seems like there was one week where they did say he was in the top three.

LOL. Their heart’s in the right place but the only way to get rid of Suckjaya is for people to stop voting for him or to actually vote for their favorite. It might be helpful if they would stress the idea to people that the reason their favorite is gone is because of Suckjaya, and the backlash will get him.”Revenge voting” LOL.
I’m afraid another good one or two will get the boot before this stupidity ends.

Only pollyanna believes that AI is straight-up. They have multiple demographics to keep interested and watching. Look at the first one - white chick/almost black guy. The second winner had to be black or Simon says good-bye to those watchers. So white guy who was better comes in second to black guy (but gets a killer deal). Third goes black again the fourth goes white.
AI is a business. There is no mistake that it's now even up on sex/race at this point. And, imo, keeping the worst one around keeps folks tuned in to watch the train wreck.....follow the money.

You're right, and I'll tell you, the more we get down to the wire here and eliminating people like Gina, the viewers are going to get really p.o.d. I know I am already. It's going to get more ugly with each week if this creep keeps staying on the show.

Last week when he STILL wasn’t eliminated, I said to my daughter, “Why do I have to listen to Sanjaya for another week?” to which she replied, “Mommy, stop whining.” (she’s 11 years old, and doesn’t like him either).
