Jordin's Third Song
Her choice is "I Who Have Nothing."
Scene from home: She has star in the mall where she used to work. The star is at the bottom of the escalator. Jordin cracks, "Now people can walk all over me!"
What a depressing song ... but she sings the heck out of it.
Randy: "Best peformance of the night."
Paula: "It sat well in your voice." What?
Simon: "There's a part of me that hated the fact that a 17 year old was singing a 60 year old's song. Very old fashioned."

Felt like a raft going down white water rapids. Great analogy ~ we have to wait 3 more hrs. here in CA ";^(
Will be picturing that raft. Will name it "George".

OH. My. God.
Blake with Sir Mix-A-lot doing Baby Got Back.
Oh, now I think he’s wearing my grandma’s couch.

I didn’t agree with Simon either. I mean (speaking of McPhee), didn’t Simon pick “Over the Rainbow” for her last year. She’s like 22 and that song was from the 30’s.

I was so proud of Jordin popping back at Simon. Normanly that is not a good idea, but in this case, It was an ok move.

I was just reading your tagline - my MIL had a meltdown at our Mother's Day dinner Sunday. She's completely programmed by things like The View and Oprah that she's convinced the world is going to end. Started shouting at hubby and I saying, "I can't believe you really think that there's progress being made in Iraq." That's when I thought, "Thank God for FR."

I think it’s Katherine and her McPhee’s that the testosterone crowd raves about.
THANK ME!

I must be missing something...I just don’t get Blake’s popularity....all his songs soud the same

This song is not doing a thing for me....but, I’m terribly biased. I never “got” Blake....

Simon is so irregular inhis criticism, that I totally ignore him.
If someone doesn’t do the original version he criticizes them.
If someone does do the original version he criticizes them.
