Well.....let's pretend she's a widow! Or, hubby left her for a skinny blonde! That's my pretend story and I'm sticking to it! Not only that, but it wouldn't be right to penalize single mothers and not the single fathers. What about those that live with their girlfriends but aren't married? Like Bo did, and as it turned out she was pregnant during the show. Should he have been made to leave? Where would it stop?

I can't remember them all but right now I like Chris Richardson and the 16 year old curly haired female singer and Lakisha - think she will go far. (aka sympathy vote for her child). But have no idea who will really go far. Will have to see them perform individually to have true favs.
I think Marissa, Bailey Brown, and afro dude ought to pursue singing contracts on their own.

I hope a record producer finds Bailey Brown and signs her to a contract that puts a thumb in the eye of the AI judges. Why? It's not their fault that she couldn't remember her lyrics.

well - that's true re: the lyrics - and also that she is 16 - they don't like that - but she can do a CD without having to remember her words - she can read them. I think she is that good. I think she is a "star" to come. She was the only voice I heard in the early rounds that I would pay to hear again. From the message boards today on AI - the blogs - there are a LOT of people who felt the same way. (and a LOT who feel as you do also). But that tells me she is marketable as a singer. I just think she could be a budding "STAR" and some smart record company ought to talk to her about a contract now before she comes back to AI and goes through all their people.

You know what surprised me about that is that they showed the same clip as from last night. Which wasn't very good. Thye must have other film they could have shown. I thought for sure that meant they would cut him, but they didn't. I was rooting for him, but he sure needs to get his A game together.
