Wow, terrific news! Boy, you just want to pat Carrie on the head, don't you? It's lovely to see someone as talented as she is do well and still have gratitude for the people and institutions that got her there.
But that's a wretched dress, isn't it? Looks like it belongs to a 60 year old hooker. Yikes!
LOL--I didn't even notice the dress :)
But that was just her "singing" dress.
This was her "arrival" dress ...
And the "after party" dress.
I await your verdict :)
Well, the silverfish dress (her arrival dress) is the best of the lot ... but bless her heart, she still dresses like an unsophisticated little girl from OK, doesn't she? It would be nice to see her in things that flatter her more without making her look like either a hooker (even a geriatric one) or a fashion victim. Of course, this is nothing new. I remember some of those outfits she wore on Idol... yikes!
But she has such a beautiful, smiling face that it's hard to worry too much about the awful clothing. :)
Carrie looks like a Greek goddess in the "arrival" dress, and like a marshmallow sundae in the "after party" dress.
Jackson is currently working on a comeback and has turned to Idol creator SIMON FULLER to help revive his career.
According to RealityTVMagazine.com, the star will have his own "Idol" theme-week and may mentor the talent on the show.
Producers of the show have hinted for weeks at a "big event show" during the new season and during a recent conference call, executive producer NIGEL LYTHGOE mentioned Jackson, saying they wouldn't want it to "slip out with somebody telling their mom that Michael Jackson is coming".
The THRILLER star is also working with choreographer and director KENNY ORTEGA, who said last week (ends09FEB07) Jackson is weighing all his options regarding a comeback.
Ortega explains, "We're talking business and looking at lots of different possibilities. This is blue-sky time with a lot of different scenarios up in the air.
"We're working through all of them to find the best, the one that makes the most sense and that's good for everybody." (SS/WNWCZM/IG)

All I can say is EWWWW. I won't be watching.
I doubt if it will happen. The Idol kids are too old for him :)
Hi Jonny!
I love her silver dress - so classy. She's had such a body transformation since leaving Idol. Her body is so sculptured now and she'd dropped a ton of weight. (I'd kill to have her trainer!) Have you seen Kelly Clarkson lately? Yikes.

Hi jonny!
Hiya! :)
Hi!!
I read that, too. I really hope not. I can't imagine that they would commit ratings suicide like that, but you neve know.
Howdy!
Hollywood--FINALLY!!!
"Hollywood Week" is only 2 episodes this season, is that right? That's sort of fast.
Kinda hope they say no.
I know!! I was getting really sick of the auditions.
Is that the episode that is supposed to be part of the song writing contest? I could do without it, too. Put it on the internet.
I hadn't heard that ... I would like more than just two. Maybe three or four at the most.
