He certainly doesn't need it anymore.
For anyone interested, Chris Daughtry will be performing free in Greensboro NC on March 23.

New York (my hometown) was very disappointing. But then I don't think we got to see the best of the 35 sent on to Hollywood. The only one who impressed me as a star was Jenry, the handsome kid with the short Bolivian mother.
Good thing he's 0nly 16, because he will be accompanied by a parent, and all the raunchy women, like Porkylana, will have to stay away from him.
I know The Donald believes in second chances, but Simon shouldn't. Nick blew it last year--he should not have been given a spot this year, because that's one less spot for a real, new talent.
The Opera Brat was obnoxious--this year's Mikayla?
The Jersey Girls could not sing but are pretty and sexy. They will be sure to cause trouble in Hollywood.
I don't remember any of the others--they were so bland and ungifted.
I think so too. I hit the "back" button so many times last night, because I was going to use stronger terms then "embellished".
I agree, rk, that whole story was as phony as a three-dollar bill...the tipoff was when her old man said "Who is this?"
This phony-baloney young lady thought she could pose as this year's Daddy's Girl, another McPhee.
Someone shouild tell the producers that their contrived "stories" are all too apparent as BS this season.
Or are we all getting jaded?
They sure could have used the Soup Nazi as the fourth judge last night, instead of the faux Joan Collins.
What a sweet girl! Could you imagine Spears or any of the other rock bimbos doing that? Thanks for sharing the link. :)
She embellished and she cried because she knew that would work, I can't believe otherwise. I really don't like that and she's already one I will probably not vote for. Unless she does something spectacular to change my mind
Just like modern Christian church music...
All I gotta say is thank God American Idol is back! I have been having serious health problems the last few months and this show is the bringing me the first real laughs I have had in ages! I love the thread! Thanks so much for hosting it once again!
My pleasure, Lady :)
It's good to hear from you. You have my sincere prayers regarding your health problems. May God bless you and heal you.
I am glad to hear you are feeling better!!! If laughter is truly the best medicine, then AI is the best thing going!! And FREE! LOL!!
Prayers for your continued healing!! :-)
Can't stand a phony or a manipulator. I'd be surprised if she made it past Hollywood.
I hope so. They spent alot of time with her, that always makes me nervous.
How long can Fox hold that high note? "American Idol" demolished everything in sight again in primetime on Wednesday with a two-hour edition that peaked at 36.9 million viewers in the 9 p.m. hour.
"Idol" opened up the night for Fox at 8 p.m. with 27.7 million viewers and 11.1 rating/30 share in the adults 18-49 demographic. By 9 pm., viewership had climbed to 36.9 million and 15.5/37 in the demo.
"Idol" surpassed the combined ratings of ABC, CBS, NBC and CW Network in both the 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. hours. CBS' "Armed and Famous" (4.7 million, 1.4/4) couldn't get arrested at 8 p.m. NBC's "Fright Night Lights" (6 million, 1.9/5) and ABC's combo of "George Lopez" (6.1 million, 1.9/5) and "According to Jim" (6.2 million, 2.1/5) weren't much better off, though CW's "Beauty and the Geek" (3.1 million, 1.3/3) held up well, relatively speaking by CW standards.
[SNIP]
All told, Fox won the night with an average of 33.6 million viewers and 13.9/34 in adults 18-49, which was not too far from where it was last Wednesday with the two-hour conclusion of "Idol's" blockbuster premiere (36.9 million, 15.5/36).
Chris Daughtry's first album "Daughtry" has climbed to the #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
Just found your thread and had to say how wonderful it is and echo others sentiments on your drawing at the top, wow indeed, and I also enjoyed the updates on the Idol group from last year.
Thanks jonny!
I had to do a double take too even though I heard Carol Bayer Sager, I saw Joan!
