Oh no, you'll miss Sarah "The Psycho" Goldberg ;) You know, we all have a good time at their expense and in most cases, I'd say that's pretty cool. Tonight, I think we saw a couple of people that went beyond delusional. I hope their families or friends watched and can be supportive and maybe even tape the segment and maybe meet with a therapist to see if those people need appointments.
The one that sang "Dancin' in the Streets", When she said she was tired of being told 'No' by everyone and not just Idol, and the dejection in her voice and her body language, I think she has other issues and really needs some help. jmo

Seriously, that guy is creepy.

Who knows what creepy crawlies are to be found there. Gag! That's true! I searched MySpace for information on last year's top ten (I think they all have pages there) and some of their "friends" were a bit odd. The ones on Paris's page in particular. Ugh.

Carrie's not married yet, SJ, you should send her a copy of you drawing. Maybe it would stike up a conversation and friendship and who knows. ;)
It really is awfully good you know.

I think she has other issues and really needs some help. jmo I competely agree about Nakia, the one that sang "Dancing in the Streets". Her reaction was genuine and truly sad.

Her dramatic exit was ruined by her trying to open the wrong door... Every time! OTHER DOOR!
Anyone want to make that their tag line? I promised myself I'd never change mine off the 9-11 thoughts.

OMG. The last contestant is getting to be like the vaunted "idiot corner" in the SF Chronicle's letters page in decades past. The last letter on the right was the idiot letter. I did make it in there once, but I was being silly and talking about the blinking 12:00 light on the VCR. :-)

Some decent prospects tonight. Not as impressive as Memphis though. How many more audition cities are left?

Is the CD dead? ... I'm beginning to think so. Most of my music is in MP3 form. I hardly listen to the CDs. Unless you have a place of employment that has banned iPods and similar due to the fact that they *could* plug into a computer and *could* introduce malware or *could* move unauthorized data off the system. Alas, the humble CD is all we have left to listen to.

I agree - there were some really unstable people let through to the judges - I hope these people are "patted down" for weapons and there is lots of security in the room (we can't see them)....
That one tone deaf singer wacko (psycho goldberg)idol wannabe was clearly a mental case.
