No offense, but this Liberal "Lets make everything a freakin telethon" crappolla is getting on my last nerve.
I agree. It's all designed to make you "feel good", when it really doesn't do a damn thing.

It's also a tax dodge for the performers who show up. They get to write off whatever they would normally get paid for a performance.

And it's a way to get themselves some free publicity under the currently hot AI banner.

AI has become a latter day Ed Sullivan Show unfortunately.

Just do me a favor...don't feel you need to slam Kelly just to boost Carrie. They are both fine young women and a breath of fresh air in the music industry. Physically they are different types. Their personalities are different. They are working in different genres of music, and both are enormously successful.
