FYI:
People are different, Christians are different.
I dont claim some authority over other Christians and what they want to believe. Its between them and the Lord. Just like it is with you.
My fellow Freepers on the ping list I maintain know exactly where I stand on these subjects. Its not to tough...I spell it out on my profile.
And its not my calling to bring everyone in Freeper land into the creation camp.
It is my calling to share the Good News of Christ. His life and death and what that means for you.
You see, I dont care what my fellow Christians believe about evo/creation/ID... its certainly an interesting hobby/discussion/chance to learn more about your world and how God made it but the final decision on what to believe is their own choice.
WHAT DOES MATTER: is whether you believe youre a sinner and Christ has interceded on your behalf to pay for the judgement you deserve.
We both woke up today to another great day the Lord has provided. Looks like he's given us at least one more day to learn about him.
That means there is no better time for you to learn of his love he has for you then Today.

Horse manure. In the post to which you are responding, I included a link where you called someone "blasphemous" for daring to state that he had no problem believing in God, and also believing that God employed evolution in His methods.

Mac, I agree. The arrogance of people like Sevakis who assume that they know how God performed His miracles, is breathtaking. To conclude that a the person who understands Natural Selection therefore doesn't believe in God, is arrogant in the extreme. The truth will set you free -- using God's name to deny the evidence and promote a falsehood ("scientific" creationism) in order to cleave to a literal interpretation of Genesis, is wrong and true Christians should seek the truth through science and have enough faith in God to see His hand in all of it, as I certainly do in natural selection -- it is in itself intelligent design!
Notice that no literal interpretation of the New Testament is mandatory -- everyone knows that Jesus wasn't talking about someone having, literally, a sty or a log or a plank in their eye, because that makes no physical sense!!! Double standards!!! To me, it's the folks who insist on creationism who exhibit lack of faith in God, and the brains God gave them.

Oh wait, I get it -- you only refrain from disagreeing with your fellow anti-evolutionists! But when it comes to attacking people who actually do subscribe to both God and evolution, on the other hand, you consider it open season, right?
