Fox News alert a few minutes ago says the Dover School Board lost their bid to have Intelligent Design introduced into high school biology classes. The federal judge ruled that their case was based on the premise that Darwin's Theory of Evolution was incompatible with religion, and that this premise is false.

Actually, we're at human beings now, but the theory says that something else will come after us.

Just don't ask the theory to make any predictions in this regard, because the subject will immediately turn to weather.

"If you can't read that, your an idiot!"

Hmm...really? Your WHAT is an idiot? If you write in nonstandard English, you will always be misunderstood. Your simple sentence is in nonstandard English. It is nonsense.

"your" is a possessive form of the pronoun, "you".
"you're" is a contraction for "you are."

If you wish to call someone an idiot, please do try to use correct English, or you won't be understood.

Thank you for your attention.

"You must have peeked at orthogenetic theory. That's the discredited one that promoted an intrinsic drive towards perfection as the mechanism behind evolution."

You should be patient; after all, it's hard to keep up with all those parts of evolutionary theory which have become discredited. Perhaps someone could post a link to a nice summary...

Yes, Marx and Freud are in decline, but they've always had their critics. And, yes, the main point I was making was emphasizing the difference between a real scientist—Darwin—and the other two.

If it's your wish to show that Darwin was wrong, though, you can: go out in the field and find a hominid fossil buried under, say, 200 million-year-old clay. But remember: showing that Darwin was wrong doesn't show that ID is right.

"But I will never be vauge with you"

I certainly hope not. I'm far from "vauge." At least I think I am. I haven't looked the word up yet, so I'm unclear on its meaning.

"By saying, "until someone comes up with a falsifiable test," you've set up conditions the Judge will not allow."

I see that you learned your honesty and integrity from Bonsell.

And what will that get them if they don't know where they came from and where they are going?

"Bogus? Which ones aren't bogus? Is your's bogus? "

Religions are religions. Each religion believes the other religions are bogus. I have no religion. Draw your own conclusions regarding which religions I consider to be bogus.

evident complexity in our universe requires either vastly more time if evolution is the culprit process, or it requires a faster, different process.

Evolution processes build complexity in reasonable lengths of time. Pure randomness does not, but evolution is not random, and builds on previous successes. Look up some of the work done at Caltech's Digital Life Lab.

In any event, criticisms against evolution, even if valid, are not evidence in favor of an unseen, unmeasurable, undetectable creator. Evolution processes work in the laboratory, where no creators presence can be detected.

"I'm sure you may disagree with what I said, but really...its not all that hard to understand."

Just because you think you understand what you wrote does not mean that anyone else actually can.

Either rewrite in standard English, or quit wasting my time.

Evolution doesn't belong in a science class being taught as fact either.

But as Bill Clinton would say, lying under oath is not necessarily perjury.

Evolution is being taught as a religious belief in our schools also. Just look what happens to anyone who dares to disagree with evolution.

Posted it twice you were so confused I see. You don't know what you believe. On the one hand you acknowledge you think ID should be taught as competing theory and in the next you deny it. You're very confused.

"Why not less complex?"

Because that's not what the theory of evolution requires. It absolutely requires the addition of complexity. You start with primordial soup. You end with human beings. Actually, we're at human beings now, but the theory says that something else will come after us. Unless you are saying that human beings are less complex than primordial soup (Bill Clinton not withstanding), there has to be complexity added in there somewhere.

Do you even know what you're defending?

I do know a bit about evolution, mostly from the fossil man side, but I hever heard that increasing complexity was required by the theory. What is your source for this?
