Natalee Holloway: Earlier Report Possibly More Troubling Now

An earlier report on Joran Van der Sloot could take on new significance with talk of pornographic images and possibly a video involving minors surfacing as regards the self-appointed "Pimps," a seemingly immature and possibly lost and dangerous group of Arubian young men. I must also credit fellow blogger Steve Huff for his earlier report - linked below and through my previous entry.

See here: Apparently, at the same time the 6'4" school athlete was said to be a proficient gambler frequenting the clubs and casinos in Aruba, he was also known to have had a romantic involvement with a 7th grade girl of thirteen until her parents learned of the relationship and made their daughter break it off back in March.

See here for extended report from Steve: I suppose what I'm saying here, and what I have said in other entries about this case is that one thing that is becoming clear is Joran Van Der Sloot wasn't the squeaky clean kid first portrayed to authorities. And if he was being a hands-off gentleman with the 7th grader, why would her parents force a break-up? It bothers me that I happened onto a report of his relationship with this girl of 13 or 14 after having heard the rumor propagated by Geraldo Rivera.

At Steve's suggestion, I did look into the matter and confirmed for myself that Joran Van der Sloot, the athletic, 6' 5" high school senior was involved, apparently to some degree, in a romantic encounter with a girl who, for all intents and purposes looks like a child.

I've since discussed the involvement with Dr. Andrew Hodges, a licensed Psychiatrist, who did seem to note a troubling pattern in the prime suspect, Joran Van der Sloot. In conversations, it was suggested that he seemed to have a pattern of romantic involvement with mostly island-based, diminutive young woman, suggesting a tendency to need to dominate, or somehow control women in his life.

Such a pattern, suggested Hodges, could fit into a pattern linked with some criminals notable for rape as their crime of primary offense. Experts have long agreed that power and control, as opposed to sex, are predominate themes among rapists - leading to its classification as a crime of violence and not simply sex.

The image of the suspect and high school senior dating such a seemingly young girl, name withheld and identity obscured in picture above with Van der Sloot, always stood in stark contrast to that of Van der Sloot frequenting casinos and spending so much time drinking and gambling and meeting young adult female tourists.

One can only hope there aren't even more sinister revelations to come in this case.

We received an email from Dave Holloway requesting help in the getting out the word of the email address to send evidence to in efforts to help find Natalee. Scared Monkeys is more than willing to help. The email was as follows:

When you author your post or paste it from another site, hit the spell button and it will insert all the html for you (do apply any html before hitting spell, or it will not work).

That is how I post articles. I paste in the article, paste in the link, then I hit the spell button and apply corrections. It inserts all the html. The only thing it does not do is ital, bold, and images. I apply all those after the speller puts in the basic html.

Beth Holloway Twitty; “We Are Going to Get Answers”

Following the rearrests of the Kalpoe brothers yesterday, Beth Holloway Twitty finds new hope in the case of his missing daughter, Natalee Holloway. Beth said she believes “we are going to get answers.”

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — Natalee Holloway’s mother said Saturday she believes “we are going to get answers” in the nearly three-month-old disappearance of the vacationing U.S. teenager after the arrests of two brothers who were previously detained and released in the case.

Satish and Deepak Kalpoe were arrested Friday on suspicion of involvement in premeditated murder and rape of the 18-year-old honors student, Aruba’s prosecutor’s office said. The Surinamese brothers were arrested after new evidence emerged, the office said, without elaborating.

“I was pumped up at the news,” Beth Holloway Twitty told The Associated Press by telephone from her home in Birmingham, Alabama. “The strongest thing I felt was that we are going to get answers.”

Beth Holloway Twitty as well as many family members have stated in the past that they believed the Kalpoe brother had been involved in Natalee’s disappearance and had knowledge of such.

Holloway Twitty said she didn’t know what evidence authorities had on the brothers but said their re-arrests seemed to support the family’s suspicions.

“We’ve worked so hard for three months to figure out what happened to Natalee,” Holloway Twitty said. “I thought those (Kalpoe) boys never should have been released. When they were … I was devastated.”

The rearrest of the Kalpoe brothers and the arrest of Freddy Arambatzis should certainly bring new light on to the Natalee Holloway disappearance.

According to Arleen; Kalpoes brought back in specifically for Natalee Case

According Arleen Ellis-Schipper the Kalpoe brother has been brought back in to custody on charges specifically related to the Holloway investigation, not new charges for a different case. Arleen semi corrected Tito Lacle from a comment that he had made earlier in the day that there were new facts and circumstances pertaining to the Natalee Hollow. However, it appears that both seem to agree in principle why the Kalpoes have been rearrested.

On 8-26 at about 5:45 AM, Current Suspect D. KALPOE and Current Suspect S. KALPOE were re-arrested at their home. The ARUBA prosecutor JANSSEN released the following press release: "They are in custody based up the same suspicions as before. There suspected of the primary criminal act of committing premeditated murder, alternately together with other people murdering somebody, more alternately, rob a person of her liberty with fatal consequences, and even more alternately, raping somebody. Aside from these suspicions against the two brothers, there are new suspicions, which at this point the prosecutor is not commenting on. To arrest S. K. (Satish Kalpoe) and D. K. (Deepak Kalpoe) again, there had to be new facts and circumstances. That is the case." The brothers were taken to the police station in the city and held until about 11:30 AM when they were bought individually in separate cars to the court hearing where they were formally informed of what the are suspected to have done. Then they were taken back to jail, where they will remain until a court hearing 8 days from today (9-3). The accusations against the Suspect KALPOE’s have to do with new evidence of rape in the HOLLOWAY case.

Concurrently with the Suspect KALPOE’s re-arrest on 8-26 at 5:45 AM, 20 year old FREDDY ALEXANDER ARAMBATZIS-ZEDAN (a.k.a. “Locoman,” a.k.a. “Locoman Pimp,” a.k.a. “badboy_956,” a.k.a. “Freddy Zedan”) was arrested.

????…. Does Current Suspect F. ZEDAN drive a white (or light) colored vehicle ???? (like the light or white colored vehicle that the fishermen reported seeing near the “Marriott Hotel” beach shortly after 3:00 AM on 5-30, and/or, the white truck that JUNIOR claimed he saw the blonde haired woman’s body removed from at the landfill)

On 8-26 J. MANSUR reported that the charges against Current Suspect F. ZEDAN also have to do with him and others filming and/or appearing in and/or selling nude and/or pornographic photos and/or films of young women and/or girls.

????…. Recall PAUL BROUGH…. as reported early in the investigation, BROUGH may be the man a.k.a. “Mr. Pink,” a producer of ARUBA pornography, that has a website here http://www.mrpinkproductions.com . It has been suggested that Main Suspect J. SLOOT knew him, and, there is a rumor of a porn beach video of Main Suspect J. SLOOT with a 13 or 14 year old girl that Main Suspect J. SLOOT was “dating.” There are also rumors that, somehow, NATALEE was enticed to pose for modeling test photos, but was actually kidnapped to use her to make a porn film(s).

????…. Recall also that on 8-5 the “New York Daily News” reported, “Aruba cops and the F.B.I. are said to be looking to the porn world for leads.”

On 8-26 the case lead investigator, ROY TROMP, said that Dutch interrogators would start to question Current Suspect D. KALPOE and Current Suspect S. KALPOE on 8-27 and 8-28.

On 8-26 LACLE reported that several women and at least one girl were confirmed by Main Suspect J. SLOOT’s lawyer CARLO to have come forward and been interrogated. The women are from both ARUBA, and the UNITED STATES. LACLE’s source(s) in the ARUBA prosecutors office also confirmed that “many people” have come forward from both ARUBA and the UNITED STATES and that these accusations of rape are now added with the accusations already made against Main Suspect J. SLOOT. Main Suspect J. SLOOT would have to be arrested from a new charge, from a new girl, for a new case, and/or to have a new charge added to the HOLLOWAY case to re-start the 116 day clock on Main Suspect J. SLOOT.

On 8-26 SOUSA stated that she unofficially knew about the Suspect KALPOE’s would be re-arrested. She said she knows for a fact that the ARUBAN polis investigators are still conducting searches, and SOUSA is notified only after a search is completed.

On 8-26 KOSINSKI reported for “MSNBC” that in addition to the current charges, there may be new charges which the prosecutor is not commenting on. KOSINSKI reported that Current Suspect F. ZEDAN is one of Main Suspect J. SLOOT’s best friends.

On 8-26 RIEHL reported that JAIME CARRASQUILLA, a 20 year old ARUBAN friend of Main Suspect J. SLOOT, would be arrested on 8-27 “for allegations unrelated to the disappearance to Natalee Holloway.”

On 8-26 BEARMAN told the “AP,” "We discussed it on the flight that, when we get there and get our hands on her, we're gonna be scolding her and telling her she shouldn't have wandered off. Um, you know, nobody believed it would get to this point."

On 8-26 BETH and JUG held a joint press conference at the “Hope/Prayer” wall for NATALEE. BETH said, “We felt early on, as early as May 31st, that these boys should have been arrested then, on that day. We spoke to our attorney and the FBI this morning and we are just encouraged by this news. We want to wait until we get some new updates from them before we come forward with any more information on it.”

On 8-26 BETH stated about the fundraiser, “It was just incredible, everyone was so supportive” Beth stated, “I was just overwhelmed with the comments people were giving me, and their words of encouragement to continue our search for the truth in Aruba. I feel like when I take a step out of Aruba and come back to Birmingham it just clears my mind and gives me more strength and determination to go back to find the answers.” “We are going to wait for further updates from our attorney before we come forth with any new information and comments on it. We don’t really have any information on the 3rd person, but I am looking forward to getting more updates throughout the day to see who it is. I am so grateful to be standing here in Alabama when I heard this news. It was meant to be that I was here with Matt and for the fund raiser.”

On 8-26 JUG stated, “We have had a little more communication down there with the police for the past week through our personal go between. We kind of knew something was gong on and so it made us feel really good to know that something was happening. It makes us feel really good that something did happen and maybe they have been gathering a lot of evidence. I really hope and that everybody following the case would think that they must have something really on them or they would not go out and re-arrest them again and go through the same thing they went through before. As for September 4th I really don’t know anything about it. I think a lot of that will have to do with what they find out today. Everything changes down there from day to day.”

On 8-26 JUG stated that the University of ALABAMA president has called Beth in the past and the university was gracious enough to have donated a $5,000 scholarship last night at the fund raiser.

On 8-26 PAUL REYNOLD’s said that NATALEE’s Loved Ones still believe that Current Suspect P. SLOOT, the father, was at least involved in the cover-up and that is based on the statements that the boys gave in the beginning. He said the family does not know at this point if photos of NATALEE are among the nude and/or pornographic photos of women/girls that Current Suspect F. ZEDAN is suspected of selling.

On 8-26 BONI opined that we are seeing “multiple guys” here, and we are seeing the word “rape”, and we are seeing the word “murder” in the prosecutors statement . . . a drug, date-rape, gang rape, murder scenario? Probably, that is exactly how it seems it is going. Now these days, date rape is so common, especially in a bar, in an atmosphere like that. We see it all the time in this country where ladies’ drinks are drugged at a bar and that certainly appears to be where this case is going. If they have been doing this multiple times, you gain more confidence each time you do it and get away with it. I really feel that Freddie is the one sweating right now. Natalee Holloway probably fell into a trap that these boys planned from the beginning. It is their M.O. These are arrogant guys that probably thought they are never gong to get into trouble and they are never going to be caught. That no one would ever tell and no one would ever report it.

????…. Have all employees of “Carlos ‘n Charlies” been thoroughly investigated by the ARUBA police and/or private investigators ???? (possibly an employee--such as a “Carlos ‘n Charlies” bartender(s) who may be a friend of one or more of the Suspects--is also involved = bartender(s) slipping date-rape drugs into unsuspecting women’s drinks)

Debbie, the Blogs for Natalee forum moderator had the opportunity to go to the “Wall of Hope” in Mountainbrook on Saturday. When she was at the WOH taking pictures and signing it for us, Beth Twitty popped up and met with Debbie and her friend. Here is Debbie’s account of the experience:

I went to Natalee’s Wall of Hope this afternoon and you will never believe this…....... I met Beth Twitty. We were at the Wall of Hope, reading all that was written, I heard a car door shut, turned around, and said to my friends oh my goodness that’s Beth Twitty. She is so nice and so gracious, walked over to us and hugged our necks. She said she saw us there and had to stop and talk to us. She answered any questions we asked, and talked to us for about 15 minutes. She was very pleased that the Kalpoe brothers & Freddy were arrested, she has felt that they play a large part in what happened to Natalee. I asked her who she trusts in Aruba and she answered without hesitation Jossy. She really appreciates all that he has done to help them. She also adores Greta, and trusts her also. She also likes the new Attorney they have hired, feels she is very aggressive and wants to solve this case. Beth & Jug are going back to Aruba tomorrow (Sunday), she also said that Greta would be back down there soon, just not sure what the date would be. I had on my Hope for Natalee bracelet and she saw it and was so happy and appreciative (I have one of the 1st ones made (original) and she was very impressed with that). I signed the wall for Blogs for Natalee (picture on 2nd email).
