Missing Teen's Mother Hopeful Re-Arrests of Brothers Will Produce Answers in Case
By Margaret Wever Associated Press Writer
Published: Aug 27, 2005
"Meanwhile, divers on Sunday are planning to explore waters off Aruba's east coast, where Holloway was staying with 124 classmates, said Eduardo Mansur, co-founder of the Aruba Search and Rescue Foundation, which has been helping search for the teenager since she vanished May 30.
Although the waters have been searched before, the group wants to try again with the help of a machine invented by an American who claims it can detect human bones and teeth under water, Mansur said. The inventor, Joe Walker, came to Aruba to help in the search but is currently off the island, Mansur said."
The east coast would be in the area where the "shallow grave", the duct tape with hairs and the green fabric were found.
I must admit, I'm skeptical about this invention. Does anyone know what this device is called and the principles on which it operates? Teeth can have fillings so, I understand how it might be some sort of underwater metal detector. But, heck, the sea is full of bones of all kinds, so how does it find them and know the difference?
one of the links takes to a pretty interesting site. Britain made it illegal to show (I'm assuming the Nicholas Berg) video because it might be considered a snuff film (go figure) and they gave a code named video that showed children being abused...to death. I wonder if it's code named so that it can't be searched for?
(I hesitate to even look at sites like that--due to the nature of the subject, I always wonder who's keeping an eye on my IP because of the weird things I end up looking at --Islamic sites, terrorist sites--now looking up 'snuff films')
I can't understand how this thing works either. It seems to work somewhat like devining for water with wishbone shaped willow limbs. I can understand the way a willow limb would be attracted to water and I've seen this work. But I don't understand how two metal rods hooked to some kind of electronics can detect bones or teeth. Metal detecting maybe, but not human remains.
A lot of effort seems to be going into using this guy's device, so I have to think he must have some kind of track record to give him some creds. If he finds Natalee's remains or any human remains with his device, he'll make a bundle of money.
Yes. Post # 182. Wasn't sure what it meant.
Chimps with red C&C hats on...chimps actually look kind of sad overlooking the antics going on onstage. Don't get a "feeling" this is 'red monkey' reference but who knows?!
Shango did talk about the Lions...can the Internet owner be the Lion with the equipment & expertise to get photos/video/live video, etc. spread over the Internet to select buyers with secure connections?

I thought Jug said it.
Hmm. What are the odds that the searchers received a tip to try a location off the east coast and the "inventor" story is a ruse to protect an informant?
I can't imagine why it would be necessary to invent an excuse: a tip is a tip. But this has been one nut of a case from the get-go. I don't think the fiction of Twin Peaks could hold a candle to the reality of the Holloway case.
I agree with Native Lingo's suspicions about CC being Shango. I posted on here a while back about how one of his posts on the Aruba site he posts on sounded like Shango only with more direct language. Still somewhat mysterious, but more direct.
It would be a very elaborate ruse just to cover the ID of an informant. Doesn't seem likely to me.
