Dince Dompig et al have cast aspersions upon Beth et al re the "funds", it might not be a good idea to continue posting about such things.......if I were sweating under the spotlight like Dompig et al are, I'd sieze upom what has appeared here and turn it into at minimum more aspersions, and whatever else I could conjure from it

I think Beth is addressing all those MISrepresentations by Mr. Dompig on each and every show that she appears on. I suppose we don't have to be parrots.

It doesn't hurt to some extent tho to let these people know that the American public and interested followers of this case from other countries SEE what is really happening. Survivor, it's time ARUBA pulled up their socks. Enough diversions already.

I saw him on Leno last night and he was clear to say that it looks like there is a possiblity she's alive without saying so. He said he can't jeopardize people investigating but that he has major investment going towards finding what happened to her. He then started talking about there being a strong "sex slave" ring and that she could have been made a part of that. Then he started saying something about Mexico but I can't remember exactly what.

When he said he thinks she "may be alive" I about dropped my drawers! There was a very audible response coming from the audience as well. Then I could only think why is nobody else saying this. He is pretty deep into this as he says and he is determined to help them either find her alive (if she is) or find her body and bring her home which is pretty close to his verbatum quote last night.

I heard the attorney and she stumbled and bumbled quite badly frankly. The legal panel basically said it - for Aruba this investigation is over. They are NOT going to do anything about solving this case. Another guy from Aruba basically stated that it was all Beth's fault, that she was trying to hurt Aruba, blah, blah, blah. It's unlikely the Investigative team with be replaced either.

NOW IS TIME FOR A COMPLETE 100% BOYCOTT of all things and places Dutch!!

Beth Twitty is back in Aruba and this time she brought a battalion of people of Paramount Pictures armed with video and audio equipment. Beth Twitty is back to continue with her negative campaign against Aruba.

We understand that she is here to try to be present at the annual meeting of the Aruba Tourism Authority and the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association with the North American Tour Operators. In that meeting Twitty has the intention to address the North American Tour Operators and tell them why she thinks that they should not continue to sell Aruba as a tourist destination. AHATA and ATA executives do not think that she can be present at this meeting just like that. Fact is that Beth Twitty is here to try to cause more damage to the image of Aruba and its authorities.

Does Beth Twitty think that she can come here whenever she feels like, harass us on our own territory, and expect that nobody does anything?

Our phones have been red hot since her arrival in Aruba. We have information that there is a group of people that will not hesitate to go into a direct confrontation with Beth Twitty of she tries anything of that sort again.

On the other hand the general question is why the Government is not doing anything about this person. The police already stated that they will watch Twitty very closely and the slightest violation of our laws will land her in jail if necessary.

According to High Commissioner Bernadina
The fact that the suspects are free, is not necessarily negative for the case

DIARIO Aruba - 11/03/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN): DIARIO conversed with High Commissioner Ronny Bernadina on Wednesday about the fact that Beth Twitty arrived in Aruba and what has been planned for the manifestation [planned for today at 6 pm]. According to Bernadina, it is not necessary to obtain a permit for a manifestation.

Police will control matters if something happens during and after the manifestation, where they will also survey the text on possible signs that could have text which contains insults on them.

Bernadina also said that if a sign contains insults, it will be taken away. If the group has a parade then yes, they must get a permit from police.

According to Bernadina he met with Beth Twitty some time back, when the lady went to his home and he asked Twitty to come in, but she didn’t want to. However she gave the Commissioner a letter, where she wrote that if for some reason Natalee’s body is found, for the police to do an autopsy within 6 hours and send the body to America within 8 hours.

Bernadina also said that American police sad that Twitty has good cooperation on the part of police and other agencies in Aruba, compared with how it is in America under the same circumstances. So Bernadina says that this shows that it is not the case that Aruba is not cooperating with Mrs. Twitty.

The Commissioner continues to say that the prosecution’s office is in charge of the whole investigation of the case and that the High Commissioner assigned all available experts, while there is a certain protocol communication with the prosecution’s office, in regards to information that is given to the press or others.

Bernadina explains also that the law prescribes that when you have suspects detained, you must have a case against them within 116 days.

In this case, this wasn’t achieved and the youngsters were let go. However Bernadina sees this as something positive for the investigation, given that there is no longer the pressure of the 116 days and the prosecution’s office and the police corps can take their time to work on the case against the suspects or find others who may be guilty.

Bernadina also says that in this case, the FBI was present in Aruba early on, where they were here within 24 hours after Natalee’s disappearance.

Aruba has now asked for legal advice, to be able to conduct certain investigations about this case, focusing also in America, where the intention is, among other things, to collect more detailed declarations on the part of Natalee Holloway’s classmates.

I have chosen to not ever complain that I can't hear something on TV because the 2 year old chatterbox is talking 100 miles an hour to stay awake - I was really trying to listen though - and I kept thinking "wait, is she really sticking up for the way aruba does things?"

I'm pretty sure at this point I'd just be in tears - just give her back to me. I don't know how Beth keeps her resolve.

I certainly hope that the United States is NOT going to allow one of their citizens who was murdered and thrown away like trash and now the family of that victim is being victimized to AGAIN COVER UP for their CORRUPTNESS, without some form of retribution.

The CIA have operatives and boats and things in that area all the time. Why couldn't a US ship bring in the right equipment and just pluck her and her cage off the bottom of the ocean.? If this is left standing as it is, it's more than a travesty. And Aruba NOR any Dutch run Island, nor Holland deserves anything but outright punishment. KICK out the Dutch Ambassador NOW. If I were in the US I'd be organizing demonstrations in front of the Dutch Embassy. This PUKE Island just threatened Beth with arrest if she returns. They also outright LIE. ORANJESTAD(AAN): Given that Natalee Holloway’s mother, Beth Twitty, is in Aruba and given that on different American TV programs she has asked people who have the intention of coming to Aruba, to not do so for the moment, the Strategic Communications Task Force and some tourism agencies are preparing to meet with Mrs. Twitty, in order for Aruba to avoid coming off in a negative light internationally. Given this, the Task Force prepared, among other things, a list of questions they want to ask Mrs. Twitty.

Some of the questions on the list are: “where do you feel your case is?”, “How is your contact with police and the prosecution’s office?”, “What is the purpose of your visit?” and “What do we have to do for you to stop asking for a boycott against Aruba?” The Task Force and other agencies are deliberating also what they can do, in case that Mrs. Twitty decides to attend the ATCA conference, which is the most important international conference for our tourism industry.

On the attorney for legal advice, maybe some hot-shot American attorney, ha ha.

Unfortunately, C.O., Natalee's last name is Holloway, not Kennedy so our gov't is not going to expend all kinds of energy trying to find her. To be fair, the navy ship they sent to look for the Kennedy son was off Massachusetts not Aruba.

I read that the Netherlands had passed a bill or whatever they call it last winter that would permit them to sell Aruba to some other country, to whoever is the highest bidder, but I have not seen anything about it since sometime in the summer. Seems to me that the Dutch are no different than the Arubans - money comes before anything else and is the only thing of any interest to them. I would be surprised if the Dutch in Holland have not received some of the payoffs from the mob on Aruba since it is such big $, not small time bribes.

My husband is retired career navy and he has always said that Americans, even ones that travel abroad, do not know how the rest of the world operates. He says it is only gradations of how crooked each gov't is, that we are all naive and need to realize that what has gone on at the UN is just how everything operates in the rest of the world.

I think there are many mayberry's here in the states that you would have just as much trouble with - if it was the chief's son etc. Geesh, there was just an article that the Chief of Police of Miami's, 25 year old son was just arrested in NY for something with major drug action.

The difference is you can get help from other sources - no other help seems available should Aruba and the Dutch government continue to stonewall.
