I want to offer a statement to the general population amongst us who thrive on the unhappiness of others. You know who you are:
"I'm glad you are reveling in our disappointment. It just goes to show the kind of person you are. I'm sure Beth's unhappiness is much more satisfying to you. Try not to gloat so much. It's really quite ugly."

There are many people out there who have turned personal tragedy in the loss of a child into something positive. The Heidi Search Center, America's Most Wanted, the Amber Alert network, and MADD to name a few.
I don't know if I've interpreted Beth's statements correctly. But I think she has the stamina needed to make this her life's work, if she chooses to do so. Not everyone 'should just get on with their lives.' There are some people who just have to do more. And I respect that. I admire it.

The writing has "appeared" to be on the wall all the time BUT then nothing but nothing in this case is what it seems. God WILL not let this mother down in the end. His ways are waaaaaaaay beyond ours. I still believe that HE can do something AMAZING!!!!
Notice how Joran VDS was released "just in time" for college?? Was that what father VDS was demanding? I pray that the Prosecutor presses sexual charges against ALL THREE of them in the next few days!! PVDS should be charged as an accessory. The man lied just like his son. Wouldn't that just be poetic justice to grab the Dutch brat before he even got assigned a seat!!!!

First, I want to thank you for your tireless efforts over the course of the Natalee Holloway threads (all 16 of them). Mucho Gracias!! I haven't posted anything previously but I've followed this tragedy from the beginning (May 30 th). I'm originally from B'ham and I used to date a lot of the Mountain Brook young ladies. And I can say that none of them who were sane and sober would've ever gotten in a car with three strangers in a foreign country! NONE, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH! They have too much class and self respect.
Second - I have Six unresolved questions: What about:
1. The Aruban law that was quoted: “when a person disappears, the last person known to be in company of the missing individual is responsible and can be charged with kidnapping”? Also isn’t there a charge/crime for “an accessory to a charge/crime”?
2. The many girls/young women who supposedly came forth with allegations that Joran Van Der Sloot had raped them also? Supposedly drugs had been used during these “date rapes”, a pattern which apparently fits the likely scenario involving Natalee Holloway? Were these false leads or stories concocted by certain individuals intentionally to “muddy the waters” during the investigation and search for Natalee Holloway?
3. The alleged sex videos that had been sold and/or distributed by Joran, the Kalpoes and Freddy throughout Aruba? Were these false leads or stories concocted by certain individuals intentionally to “muddy the waters” during the investigation and search for Natalee Holloway also?
4. Doesn’t Aruba have a charge/crime and penalty for “obstruction of justice”? There are a number of individuals who are guilty of this charge/crime: Joran Van Der Sloot (VDS), Paulus VDS, the Kalpoes and Freddy.
5. Where is Natalee Holloway? The five persons named in # 4 should have been detained by the police until one or more of them disclosed exactly what happened to Natalee Holloway! In my book a failure to talk or give testimony is equivalent to “contempt of court” where the person refusing to talk can be held in jail indefinitely!
6. When will (if ever) the file (leads, tips, searches, evidence, etc., etc.) on the Natalee Holloway case be released to the Twittys/Holloways? In what media form? Will this file ever be released to the public and the media; i.e., does Aruba have an Freedom of Information act or rule? Will it be a complete file or a redacted version or only selected portions as determined by the Aruban judicial system?
Can anyone supply me with the answers to any or all of these questions?
Third: Where is "Dirty Harry" when you really need him? The Natalee Holloway case is almost deja vu "Sudden Impact". Harry Callahan and Jennifer Spencer (Sondra Locke) took on the hoodlums who had gang raped Jennifer and her sister years earlier and rectified all previous injustices.
