Now that the attention of the American media has been diverted to the hurricane and it's after math and will be for a long time, Aruban authorities figure they'll get away with it. Tragic.

Gosh almighty, that is exactly what I came back to the thread to say!

I figured they'd keep Joran 30 more days and THEN release him. (Everything---phony clues of bones and duct tape and joggers, etc etc---for weeks and weeks has been to run out the clock until September...)

But the hurricane is giving them cover...

I know you remember---9-11 saved Condit...It took Chandra Levy totally out of the news and he skated.

On 9-11 or 9-12, 2001, Paula Poundstone pleaded and skated on child molestation...

These people know how the media works and how to manipulate media and use it to their advantage...

This is so difficult to believe... Where is Beth?.. Will the truth ever be known?.. remember Jug said that they would disclose some of their evidence/data if the case went sideways (or something to that effect - hope I am not making this up!).. do you think he is ready?

From a communication position... it may be better to wait until next Monday or Tuesday to have Beth come forward.. by then, the hurricane will be somewhat continuing news and the public will begin to listen to other issues...

If 9.11, the war, our little children being exposed to evil and death, the senseless murders of pregnant women, missing young persons with brilliant futures.. and now the hurricane are spiritual action to get us to increase our prayers... they certainly caught my attention.... I have never prayed so hard, so long and so sincerely as I have these past few years... but I also know the power of prayer... through that power

We will help Beth through these dark hours, we will find a way to rebuild a new and dynamic city replacing New Orleans - dedicating it to the Lord... it really is up to us and our capacity for prayer and actions...

Note tonight, Samaritan's Purse was on FOX, with Rev. Graham talking about each Church taking ten families to nurture and support for a few months, helping them establish a valuable future... not a bad idea... now if we want to support something.. let's get behind his idea...
