Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The two brothers had been previously detained and released. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)

Surinamese Satish Kalpoe, 18, front, gets in a car to go to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who had been detained and released in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway were arrested again Friday based on new evidence, officials said. The brothers were detained on suspicion of involvement, with unidentified 'other people,' in premeditated murder and rape, the prosecutor's office said. Person to the right is unidentified. Probably so that people won't panic anymore than they already are. Lots of despair, etc. The priority is search & rescue and the dead aren't 'officially' being counted yet.
I truly believe that Beth has very heavy spiritual assistance. And I believe we are (at least a small) part of it. We are blessed to know this kind of goodness. I wouldn't want to live in Aruba, or anywhere else, without it.
Malichi is not here to defuse the focus from Natalee. He's been here from the beginning. Personally, I want to thank heim form posting this info today. Hurricane Katrina is a huge event. You can't expect people not to talk about it.
There is a picture of Joran in the "Aruba Today" newspaper, but I couldn't put it here.
Joran has lost his supercilious smirk, today.
I hope you're right, as he still hasn't posted....
When will the "judge" rule on keeping Joran in jail?
Judge to rule today, Wed. In the picture at:

note the narrowed eyes and the disgruntled set of Joran's mouth and chin.
"When will the "judge" rule on keeping Joran in jail?"
You left out clock ticking tune from Jeopardy!
What's your wager? I'm for keeping his sorry carcass.
I bet he stays in jail.
I don't think they *can* release him with the other guys being locked up. (But just when I feel absolutely certain about anything in this case, I get surprised)
Based on what we have heard (scant though it is):
If Aruba is playing it somewhat straight - Joran stays in jail
If Aruba is massively corrupt and proud of it - Joran goes free
The brothers also were taken to the court Wednesday about two hours after van der Sloot, but the reason was unclear. Their defense attorneys, who declined to speak to reporters, have filed motions challenging their detention.
Aruba straight - Joran stays
Aruba crooked - Joran's out
Aruba crooked and wants to appear straight - Joran stays and takes the fall for bigger fish.
Joran's out--Kalpoe's take the rap.
Could be. Just could very well be.
They are so smarmy looking. Joran = smirky. Alpos = smarmy.
"...Joran stays and takes the fall for bigger fish"
This is more ominous (and likely) than it might appear.....since he was a 'juvenile' and would likely be sentenced as such.
Vn, you and I have been on this wavelength for some time. I do so wish she'd turn up and all the black marketeers would be captured. Age and experience with disappointment tell me it's not to be.
I wonder how AVDS would feel if it were her fat carcass being passed around like a beach ball in a game of keep away? That woman's remarks during the last interview really have me seething. The very !#^#!^ nerve. "I want my kid back."
MAYBE SHE WENT TO THE AL-SHEEHAN SCHOOL OF CHARMING MOTHERS.
