That person was there. Perhaps you should go to that website and post back to that person and tell them that they do not know what they did when they were there. They do not know how late they stayed out. They do not know how much they drank or how they felt. Let them know all the things they got wrong about their vacation.

I have read that statement several times, but I have also read statements to the contrary. That leaves us where? Also a couple of MC girls have stated Natalee appeared okay.

I'm inclined to think the judge believes the story that the brothers told about dropping them off at the beach near the Marriott. If that's the case, there is no evidence of a crime that they would have committed.

YES!! A very UNUSUAL storm was what broke Laci Peterson loose from her weights at the bottom of the SF Bay and God saw to it that Conner broke free from Her just before He deposited them on the shore!!

They lied to the police, participated in a conspiracy, which resulted in two innocent men being left in jail. I presume you think OJ is innocent too.

See? I wish the girls on TV would be that honest. Honesty is the best policy, and it would be good for their souls. This could have happened to any one of them; it just happened to be Natalee.

I know they are forgiven for just being drunk kids. They don't and shouldn't bear responsibility for the rest of their lives for not looking out for Natalee. But I daresay they will be much more cautious when in a similar situation in the future, as will lots of people affected by this story who were NOT there. It is GOOD to be careful!

It was WIDELY reported at the time this first started that the brothers were drug dealers.

You do raise an interesting point. Look how they skated on the drug dealer business. Guess they are skating again.

IMO this is an unfair statement. Based upon the facts before the trip, I don't see how you can possibly blame this on BH's carelessness. Natalee had demonstrated maturity and responsibility in life. She was going away to college. Many students take trips like this. I have not seen any statistics to indicate that Natalee's case is a common result of these trips.

There are lessons to be learned here. We will have to wait for all the facts to emerge, to understand what some of those lessons are. So far, what I have told my own daughter is that you don't ever leave your friends, or allow them to leave you, no matter where you are. (drinks can be drugged causing uncharacteristic behavior)

We could deduct from this case that no teenager should travel without parents in a foreign country. It would be wonderful if that would prevent something like this from ever happening again. Unfortunately, protecting your children is not nearly so simple. This is just one of many many risks children face as they grow up and become adults. I think a better approach would be to understand how you were able to avoid a similar situation. Whatever gave you this instinctive reaction, is something that I would very much like my children to learn.

OMG!! Your post #116 is off the wall. In America, the Kalpoe brothers car and the Vandersnoots car etc. would have be searched (after they got a warrant) within the first 12 hours. The Dutch system leaves a lot to be desired. And Sean Hannity has not been condescending at all. He has simply expressed his shock at them setting these guys free and not going through the car(s) for 11 full days. That is a long time and plenty of time to get rid of any evidence.

And the Arubans DEPEND on American dollars for their very income (jobs). Perhaps they should think about that.

There won't be a shred of evidence to link him or the Kalpoes to her demise.

It's a long shot, but there might be.

If she died as result of a date rape drug (or died of any other cause while under its influence, the body would not metabolize the drug and there still may be some small trace of it in the remaining tissue. If some trace is found and if it can be established that Joran has used this MO before...well, you see where I am heading with this.

Lotta "if's" but there's always hope.
