It is a good question but I would think the answer is easy enough to find out...ask the roommates.

No kidding onyx. Why did FOX have to pull Greta now? I guess we will be reduced to following a CNN reporter or an MSNBC reporter. I think we should all email Fox and at least lodge our complaint about the timing they have chosen to leave Beth out on a limb. I had more faith in them than that.

You're assuming that she was lucid. If she was drugged, she may not have even realized she'd been raped at that point or even what the hell was going on. But it's all speculation and I'm beginning to think we'll never know what happened. Sigh.
Bet the Aruban powers-that-be were thrilled this morning that the story got bumped by the London attacks.
Just a guess, but I think your theory is close to the bone. She wasn't lucid at all. Of course, the whole story is perhaps apocryphal. But it is logical.
Is this the beginning of the end? Some days ago the NH story fell from the lead story on Nancy Grace, and then fell to just a few minutes of the broadcast...
Other stories on cable news seemed to leap-frog over the aging NH story. The London Olympics, for example. The location of Shasta Groane. (I am not arguing one way of the other about the relative newsworthiness of these stories.)
Tonight it was a small part of Greta's show (understandably due to the terrorist bombing.) Are they (Fox, Greta) hoping to wean viewers off the story? While many of us don't tire of it, how about most of their viewers? I am hearing a growing fatigue for the story from people on FR (people who tired of Scott Peterson and OJ etc.) and among the general public.
Without Fox in Aruba---and Fox/Greta will eventually leave, sooner or later and move on to other stories---I fear it will all be over for Beth. And that's what the judicial system and government of this banana republic are waiting on. The story will die and they can do what they wish, as they had planned at the git-go, until Beth and U.S. media screwed it up and they weren't able to frame the security guards.
Changing the subj a bit---has it been stated why Greta promo'd an interview with Deepak for her show LAST night (Wednesday night) that never happened? (Or did I just miss it somehow?)
Well it has not bugged me all along, because this was the first time I heard her say that she did not get out of the car.
