I don't want to put more weight on meds than might be appropriate, but Beth mentioned three things. Would she have included birth control pills, or cramp meds, or even eye drops for early onset of glaucoma in that list. As said, I might be dead wrong, but there is a possibility that the reference to meds meant that she wouldnt' leave them if she were running away.
I suspect her meds were important. I just wish I knew what they were.
We remained in our seats unless we were walking to the restroom. We spoke to those seated next to us and didn't shout across aisles. There were reports of the students being loud and unruly at the hotel too. It seems there was more than one 'observer' seeing the same. Although I have to admit that if our flight left and one of the students missed it, because they hadn't shown up for breakfast or anything, I wouldn't be cheerful at all. I would be worried about that student.
Besides, the thing that I never understood about the posters' claim is that this flight was on June 3. I thought the return flight was on May 31st. Either way, it just kept going on and on and ON.
Supposedly there were two flights out, but I thought they were for the same day.
Have you ever had cramps? The meds are important. LOL
I think I read that the date rape drugs don't stay in the system for very long, anyway.
Its possible that by meds she meant 'any and all meds' that a person might take with them on a trip. Everything from aspirin, allergy tablets, sinus tablets, digestive tablets for heartburn etc.
Doesn't pass the ole smell test.
By meds, a person implies a "medicine of a certain importance."
But I do know pain. I think meds are prescriptions and I wonder if they might have interacted poorly with a date rape drug.
Could all be moot, but I wish those that know the details would release them so the freeper gumshoes can pick over the facts for clues.
I remember "Quidam" and yes that was fun.
Your right - no Greta.
Thanks.
I disagree, I oftem refer to over the counter meds as MEDS.
We have a new thread guys please see post #2038 for the link.
I recall Quidam but didn't get into their posts that much.
But that's just me...and I might be wrong. But I might not.
"Wake up DS, there's a new thread, you old goat."
We're not - it only smells that way with all the residue from the firecrackers. :)
Beth mentioned them means they were important
Maybe she mentioned them for those who "implied' she ran off, etc. - it showed she planned on coming back to her room and then catch her plane to go home.
Me too. I refer to all medications as MEDS, whether they are prescription or not. I never call them drugs and I don't say, oooops I need to go take my prescription now. I say, oooops, time to take my meds.
Depending on what her meds were, an interaction with rohypnol could have been fatal.
Maybe.
I knew this gal that left her meds, and these were prescriptions, in the medicine cabinet when she had a fight with her husband and went home to mother for a week! lol
Yup, that is what it points to. Of course, some drugs take a person into another realm (I don't think Jurine went into that realm with Nat because he went to class the next day). And this would have meant that Nat was so altered that she didn't care.
If she were that drunk, she would have asked Jurine to get her to the hotel. Even drunks know they have to sober up...however painful it might be.
The fact that Jurine did not see her back to the hotel meant that he had an ulterior motive with this touriste.
Jurine is either guilty of sexual abuse of a drugged girl or he is guilty of worse.
