The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

If she was left at an after hours party and the three were fessing up, it is logical to believe others would have been brought in for interrogation, all those at the party, and other houses and vehicles would have been searched..I saw none of the above, so if she was taken to another party, it seems the three have not admitted to that...

First, I'm just theorizing. What I also don't find logical is that these 3 kids haven't turned on one another, what force keeps them apparently silent to Natalee's ultimate fate or destination that night? I suppose a brother might want to protect his brother, which would leave us with 2 in the know (Deepak and Joren). But then we are asked to believe that neither of them would flip. It's hard for me to believe that either would have that kind of faith in the other. Or I guess I could also say it's easier for me to believe that they have faith or fear in either the power that is protecting them or the consequence of talking.

if this true, i wonder how much of the judge's decision is due to the Twitty's having a press conference scheduled in order to spill beans if they let them go? i think that was very smart of them to have that club positioned right there over the Aruban justice system ready to let 'er fly....

Three Boys In/Out of Court

Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers appeared in court earlier this morning/afternoon for their hearing. Joran’s hearing is over and apparently Satish and Deepak Kalpoe’s hearings are over too and that they returned to KIA. Thanks to arubagirl, we now know the F-16 fighter jets finally arrived at the island.

The results of the hearing are expected soon ..

Aruba's chief government spokesman, Ruben Trapenberg, said Friday that the three could be formally charged with a crime as soon as Monday.

Would their lawyer know the result right after the hearing or would they have to wait?

I would have thought that they would have known right after. Course it wouldn't really mean mush since they determined to release that Croes and he still had to be taken back to jail.

Fox News...the decision has been made, the judge has left the courtroom, the family knows but the press has not been told the outcome as of yet.

I think it had a lot to do with it.

If I understand correctly, this time around, they can appeal. I would think that the lawyer for the brothers Deepak and Katish, might appeal. He stated there was no new evidence against them and my understanding is that they need new evidence to hold them over.

Going to be interesting to see if he appeals or not.

if they do let them go, i am all for the Twitty's just letting everything out of the bag. not a thing for them to lose at that point, just dump it all out in the public eye.

Fox reports the decision has been made and the "family" made aware but it is not yet public who might remain in detention versus who might be released.

I assume they meant the family of Natalee Holloway - and likely the other families involved , as well.

yes, i also heard this would be the first opportunity for an appeal to be filed by these suspects. and i also understood from what the aruban atty commentators have said that additional evidence was needed for each additional hearing. if they let Satish go, maybe that wouldn't be enough to trigger the avalanche, Deepak released, i would be a bit more inclined. if Joran is set loose, i say let it ALL OUT!
