The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Can you make any sense out of what the poster is saying? I can only see three scenerious, but you can add your own...

#1...It was from a military brief for the benefit of those from Aruba??

#2...It actually happened in Iraq and they were rescued in Aruba and the police arrested the perps and charged them???. Nope!! The article reads that the Arubian police rescued the women and arrested and charged the men. Did the Arubians charge the brother with murder?

#3...The Arubian police are so accomplished that their assistance is sought worldwide.....I'm having a hard time posting this nonsense.

And why together? These guys ought to be separated so that they cannot coordinate their stories. I'd want each boy independently to say exactly where on the beach they pulled out to drop off Natalee and Joran. Cripes, they even handcuffed them together the other day!

I am so pissed. I just ran up to the 7-11 and the cashier was talking to another customer, carrying on about how he spoke 3 different languages and that Americans only spoke one. Oh I let him have it.

We only NEED to speak one language anyway.

Besides, back during the Roman Empire, Latin was the language that all would learn, if they wanted to get ahead. Today it's English that is learned by anyone who wants to succeed. We don't need their languages. They can keep 'em.

(Although I've studied several languages myself, as many of us ignorant Americans have, I'm sure.)

I think there is a neighborhood in Kirkuk called Aruba (one of the worst neighborhoods in that town), so this doesn't refer to the island of Aruba. Do a Google for "Aruba +Kirkuk."

This is a tidbit that I was referring to:...the cheif of Kirkuk Police saying that "Terrorists have been arriving in Haweeja, and Hay Al-Aruba (Arabism District) in the recent days. A group of 35 terrorists have been arrested in Al-Aruba district.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head.

I too have thought for the last couple of weeks that the theory that Natalee might have been abducted (either into the sex slavery trade on the South American continent, or as an object of ransom).

To me, that theory has more plausibility than the idea that these three boys murdered her --and were somehow able to hide her body so effectively, in such a short window of time.

But now that Natalee's face has been "plastered all over every cable outlet aroung the world," she may have become too hot a property, so to speak, to hold on to.

If this is so, her abductors will have likely done away with her very, very thoroughly, so that no trace of her will never be found.

Sadly, this could be the result of her parents taking the wrong tack in this case. (And before I get royally flamed for daring to say that, please note that I don't blame them at all. If I were in their shoes, I probably would be doing the same thing.)

With hindsight (which may be 20/20, or not), it might have been better for Natalee's parents to have kept a lower profile. Huge publicity supposedly does help in some kidnapping cases; but here, it may be the wrong thing to do.

The best thing Natalee's parents could have done, if this theory is correct, would've been to quietly hire a team of private investigators, right off the bat, to see what they could find BOTH in Aruba AND on the South American continent. Natalee's family appear to be wealthy people, so likely this would not have been a huge financial hardship.

I mean, fuhgeddabout the Dutch marines and the Aruban government! If there ever was any hope that those people would be helpful, there isn't much now. Not after they've been insulted and angered, primarily by the obnoxious American media.

And also in retrospect, it would appear that "putting all their eggs in one basket," as Greta put it, is a major mistake.

By focusing almost obsessively on the notion that Joran, his father and the two Kalpoe boys "have the key" to unlocking the mystery, and apparently discouraging other lines of inquiry, the parents may not be helping.

The fact that no new information is coming out of these kids could, just possibly, mean that that neither the van der Sloots nor the Kalpoes have any idea what ultimately happened to Natalee.

(Why did they start out lying, then? Maybe they were covering up some relatively minor crimes, such as drug dealing, and genuinely thought, as the security guard Mr. Johns put it, that Natalee would "turn up in a couple of days" and they would be off the hook.)

Very sorry to say this, but it might turn out to be the cold, hard reality. (And again, I don't blame the parents one bit. They're doing what comes naturally. It's just that THAT may turn out to be the wrong thing.)
