The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Dr. Baden is a renowned Forensic Patholoist and then just recently I heard an anchor mention that he also had a law degree. I was surprised to hear that.

Jug states that what they know they cannot reveal now because they will jepordize the case but also said that if the 3 suspects walk that they (Jug and Beth) will reveal it and all of America will be devastated.

Devastated? I am going to have catch the repeat. My heart continues to break for them. In almost every recent interview they just ask for help, all the while knowing something of the weight to devastate us. Would he be referring to a great injustice in the face of known facts or something different?

I heard it was because he was incompetent and had been planned a LONG time.

I surmised the "incompetance" factor about 3 weeks ago. This investigation is going along like a car stuck in the mud. Although I thought that about the Snott Peterson case from the word go, but since this investigation is well over a month old, it's getting absolutely ridiculous. I strongly sympathize the parents over the anguish they must be dealing with each passing day.

Can't you understand being kind to the family while they held out hope?

I guess the news had it wrong about "charges" today, anyway. Kindness is one thing, but if they had evidence my daughter was dead, I'd like to know. Their justice system is not as open as ours, I suppose.

We KNOW they said she and Joran had SEX in the car.

This car must have been involved in something nefarious. I suppose if she were intoxicated enough, she MIGHT have gone along with sex in a car in which two other guys were in the front seat, but then why go to the beach afterward? To smoke a cigarette? (Can they smoke on their beaches? It's not allowed here, LOL.)

More likely she was either raped in the car, maybe by more than one of them, or even killed in the car. Maybe the drop off at the beach was actually a drop off at some boat dock to get rid of her at sea?

When we were returning to Calgary from Glacier, we drove through a part of B.C. Stopped in a little town called Fernley(sp) to buy wine! lol

It was really pretty. Ski resort. My only complaint....right after leaving town, there were elk everywhere! Herds! Right on the shoulder of the road! I was driving and I was petrified one would leap out in front of the car!

If we ever get back there, we're definitely spending more time in B.C.

In a recent full-page article in De Telegraaf (biggest newspaper in The Netherlands), they dedicated attention to the Natelee Holloway’s disappearance and the suspected involvement of the Dutch judge-in-training Paul van der Sloot and his son Joran. The article covered mostly all the events since the disappearance of Natalee but there were also a few statements that were not (broadly/publicly) reported before.

What happened to Natalee? According to the article, the detectives believe strongly that Natalee was taken to the light house located at the Northern part of Aruba by the 3 young suspects. Once they were there it is believed that these suspects tried to engage in sexual activity with the Natalee, but she most likely refused and tried to fight them off. She was consequently murdered (during the struggle) and her body was then dumped somewhere on the island or in the sea.
